  1. The only thing I'll say is that at this point, it's nice to not be torching in the mid 80s every day and humid.
  2. Low of 36 this morning. Frosty on the cars and deck. Thankfully the fig tree wasn't damaged.
  3. Had it slowed down by 12 to 18 hours, it would've been a classic powderfest from EZF to BOS.
  4. Glad to see KZER come online. That's a big data gap in PA. Another spot is near Fulton County, PA.
  5. No. Our flood sensors showed no major rises on any of the 9 watersheds in Montgomery. As you said, everything was spread out so much that we didn't even see a spike in turbidity on Sligo Creek, which is really saying something.
  6. RSV is no joke. Almost killed my brother when he was 2. Glad your son is doing better!
  7. Given the past 3 winters, this would be solid. Hope you're too warm for February!
  8. Link to the 12/30/00 event: http://www.raymondcmartinjr.com/weather/2001/30-Dec-00.html
  9. Eskimo Express for a White Christmas confirmed!
  10. Yup. We're starting to get a few decent breaks of blue sky at work in Gaithersburg. On visible satellite, you can see the dry air finally working in from the NW.
  11. Two distinct rumbles of thunder to the east this evening.
  12. Looks like a little vort max is rotating westwards over Baltimore and Carroll counties this morning.
  13. Almost an inch of rain overnight in Reisterstown. Surprisingly effective rainfall despite small hydrometeors.
  14. All you need a a fire and a nice dark beer.
  15. LWX radar would imply a decent slug of rain incoming.
  16. Had a Sphinx Moth hovering over our planter the other evening.
  17. Some of the flooding pictures along Assateague from the Assateague Fishing FB group are impressive. Might be a Top 3 event for southern Delmarva.
  18. I actually enjoyed that event. I took off for those 3 days and the wife and I just drank coffee and enjoyed the snow with the cats. It was relaxing.
  19. Yea if this were winter, people would be wailing.
  20. Seem like the GFS is running like 2 cycles behind everyone else with this event.
  21. Yea you can see this on LWX radar where terrain is enhancing precip in WV panhandle and eastern Lancaster County too.
