  1. Appreciate the write up and the graphical explanation of how the various indexes play out.
  2. 68 degrees at 7pm. Reallllly gonna need those rates the NAM has been advertising for this to work out.
  3. Me too. Would just love to have a nice 14 to 17 period near Christmas where we get climo snow and cold.
  4. 82 for a high yesterday in Reisterstown.
  5. BWI: 19" DCA: 10" IAD: 12" RIC: 8" Tiebreaker (SBY): 10"
  6. Hey anybody can point me to a portal where I can do a quick map of daytime surface T anomalies? I want to compare how the Ts for one day (of my chosing) in one region (S. America) compare with the climatological values.
  7. Map needs work. The numerical values on the contours have awkward jumps.
  8. As long as it isn't 70+ degrees on Thanksgiving, it's a win.
  9. I purchased a Tempest last year and I'm rather happy with it. That being said: 1.) The haptic rain sensor is not reliable during very light or heavy precipitation. 2.) The wind seems to be under reporting.
  10. Amazing shot. Are these you COOP stations on your property? Do you know what happened to the Carroll Valley AWOS? They seem to not report anymore. Site R seems pretty hit or miss anymore too.
  11. Millersville University's winter forecast is out. Not great, not terrible.
  12. Agreed. Only M0.14" Reisterstown.
  13. ^yea that's an encouraging look at we move towards the middle and end of November
  14. Yea bad enough Halloween is on a Monday.
  15. Time sensitive, but check out the visible satellite loop over Delmarva. Looks like a solid wall of fog rolling east in a straight line.
  16. 35 for a Sunday morning low in Reisterstown, but it was 31 with heavy frost just a few miles west in Finksburg.
  17. My NWS installed thermometer for my COOP site reads 35 for the low, the Tempest at the bottom of the yard read 33. Either way a decent frost.
  18. Catoctin Mt. Orchard earlier this evening
