  1. That's just insanely depressing. We haven't had a legit snowstorm in almost a decade and now we have to wait another 2 years for even a shot.
  2. This winter is going to blow absolute chunks. Do we even get any snow?
  3. Impressive training along Worcester and Wicomico counties. Salisbury ASOS shows NW winds, Wallops Island is SW. Pretty good droplet size as well per the KDP on Wakefield's radar.
  4. The flash drought occurrences seem to be increasing infrequency over the past decade. Though these events pale in comparison to the drought of 1999 - 2002.
  5. Good luck on the interview! I just need Friday clear in Washington County.
  6. Classic DC Severe. The mountains give extra lift, then it downslopes and fizzles, finally cycling over the Bay.
  7. Maybe a second round of some storms rolling off the mountains?
  8. 4 days in a row of 100+ heat and we can barely manage rain. oof.
  9. lol we suck at weather...this line is weak sauce
  10. What was the following winter like I wonder?
  11. Looks like the bay breeze has swept through BWI.
  12. BWI is about to flirt with a bay breeze boundary...not sure they hit 101. DCA seems like it's switching to a SW wind...might have a better chance.
  13. Per the 18z RAOB, we're +26 at 925...that seems to be the threshold for our UHI to threaten 100 degree anymore.
  14. Meso out...60% WW chance: https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md1667.html
  15. The lone warned cell in WV is probably riding some respectable dynamic in that it: 1.) Is already generating CG outside a favorable environment 2.) It's tall enough that LWX radar can pick it up 3.) It's tail end Charlie, so there's nothing robbing it from inflow.
  16. Ah so we've got cooler waterfront property today.
  17. 16z HRRR really love I-70 north. Others get at least some storms.
  18. DCA rounded up to 99 degrees....on a river wind. lol
  19. LOL..BWI and Ft. Meade are gonna make 100 degrees.
  20. Meso from Mason-Dixon north: https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/
