  1. It's also clear that the eventual evolution of this system is highly dependent on delicate interactions at range. Small changes early on can have big implications for sensible ex down the road. It's been interesting to track today.
  2. And like the masochists we are, we'll continue to watch the models
  3. Snow on the beach/boardwalk in Rehoboth is a special experience. We drove into town for the last storm, and the whole city was beautiful. There's a big pile of sand by one of the beach entrances that I climbed with my dog at the height of the storm, and you could see all of Rehoboth Ave, the bandstand etc lit up with heavy snow falling. Purple parrot restaurant does snow parties too, fun locals vibe I'm still nervous that even we get shafted with another shift tho.
  4. Can't believe we're in a situation where a north trend wouldn't hurt
  5. Yeah, I'm surrounded by tall pine trees in a trailer, so not looking forward to that
  6. Even the disaster runs for most of the forum still show us getting like 5 to "6 as a floor. I was just worried that the de-amplification trend would continue and I guess it's still possible that it does. But it was nice to see the 6z runs stem the bleeding so to speak.
  7. I'm hopeful now after glancing at 6z runs that my earlier pessimism was overstated. Reeling this one in would really be the cap off to what turned out to be a really good winter
  8. This is up there with ji's "sleet is like having a hot sister" quote lol. Well done!
  9. Roughly that, although some of us around the area got a bit of a deformation band on the last storm that pushed us into the 6-8" range Definitely highly unusual for this area. Weather gonna weather though, might as well enjoy it, because we'll pay for it someday I am sure. I really hope you can get a good hit out of this one For you guys, I hope the rest and results don't match . That was a wonderful storm for me, but no one to share it with, the mood in here was downright funeral as I recall. 1/30/10 was a wonderful little storm that was collectively willed north by the combined willpower of the entire board lol. I remember each model run squeaking north 20 miles at a time. Thanks for sharing this map. What a painful cutoff. Yes, that one was super easy to shovel/sweep. Beautiful storm, and who would have guessed it was just the appetizer
  10. Clearly you didn't leave a big enough tip for Jesus last night...
  11. PSU must be busy killing chipmunks. I certainly don't blame him. This stings bad.
  12. I know it still looks good for everyone in this thread, but these trends are alarming. We've now seen it on all guidance so far. Another shift like this and it's in the Southeast forum lol
  13. Definitely great storms. I had no one to share it with because everyone on here was in mourning because it "missed everyone " meanwhile I was under a blizzard warning
  14. I think tomorrows sets of runs are where things will probably settle in to close to the final solution.
  15. The adoration of greatful snow weenies east of i-95? Lol
  16. Lol I'm getting old in that I can't automatically remember. I do remember getting stuck at my parents house after checking up on them in 2018, and I had a Jeep. I do believe both storms were 10"+ I was also one of the few that made our really well in the Boxing Day Storm, that was also 10-12"+
  17. I'm certainly not kicking it out of bed, fringed lol
  18. You really provide some quality analysis and graphics in this thread. Thank you!
  19. Ukie was the most amped with mixing to dc at 12z. Very interested now to see what it spits out, not to mention the Euro
