    He really has. I don't know how Nick will handle him going forward. Every game I watch, I sit and analyze every move that Nurse makes and compare it to what I think Doc would have done. I highly doubt that Doc would have had the guts to bench him. Have you noticed how many close games we've won over the past month or so? Games that we NEVER would have won in the previous years. Last night's game...if that was last year, we were toast.

    Only .02" of rain here overnight. Batum saved the Sixer's bacon. Embiid was in his typical playoff form until the final few minutes. Harris was absolutely abysmal.

    I'm waiting for Blizz to make the first move - then I'll buy in his neighborhood so that I can borrow his fully gassed snow blower in South Beach.

    And further...personal preferences are what matters to me. I know there are some that won't visit let along move to Florida. I'd move there in a hot second once my wife greenlights us. Most of my family will be there in the next 3-5 years.

    Somehow, that area of rain completely whiffed me. Nary a drop. Radar doesn't look super encouraging for rain chances, at least in the near term.

    Cloudy here as well - looking at CTP's future radar map, I'm going to get a shower here in the next hour and that might be it until Friday.

    I haven't looked out since 9am, at that time the sun was shining with only some high clouds around. I was stunned this morning - it was beautiful!

    How much is beer now in Hershey? Philly venues are pretty much in the $13 - $16 range this year. Chicken and fries is what I remember costing so much in Hershey. I paid more for that 10 years ago in Hershey than I just did on Opening Day in Philly.

    Another scenario (improbable, and would not have happened regardless of coach) was that if the Flyers were putting on pressure in the final minutes to NOT pull the goalie and see if they could tie it 5 on 5. The Flyers are simply awful with a man advantage and I personally think they could have tied it without pulling Ersson. Again though...in reality, that just would not happen and even if they did it was admittedly a very low probability. All this thinking has me stressing for fries now. LOL

    On back to back nights the Red Wings trailed in the final minute. Both nights they tied it, both nights they won it. And then they get eliminated because the team they wanted to win was forced to pull their goalie in a tie game because that team had to win in regulation. Pretty cruel ending for the Wings.

    I do not buy anything at the Giant Center. Food prices there are higher (some items significantly so) than every professional sports venue that I go to. It should not be that way. We go to Red Robin before the game.

    Can certainly question some of his decisions but he got a lot of mileage out of this team. He's the least of our issues heading into the off-season.

    Yep, that's my mentality pretty much. Just a little frustrating to see them own a playoff position for 65+ games this season and then lose it in the final weeks. Bigger picture, though... I was waiting for months for this team to implode and it got to the point where I was starting to think that it wouldn't...and then it did anyway.

    Freaking Red Wings...ugh. That was crushing last night. Then again - when you go winless for 8 consecutive games, you kind of deserve to be in the position the Flyers face.

    Correct - Flyers will lose tonight 11-1 as Torts yanks Ersson from goal at the 7:52 mark of the 2nd period.

    Red Wings come back from the dead. What a finish to the season unfolding. Looks like I'll be watching the playoffs in relax mode. LOL
