  1. 91 in Maytown despite a fair amount of cloudiness...impressive. Especially after the damp start.
  2. paweather's reverse phycology is working...Phils right back in it...
  3. That would obviously be great for Pittsburgh, but can you imagine Skenes taking the bump in the postseason? Man...that would put MLB in an almost "must watch" position for the first time in years. And yeah...I have Keller on my fantasy team. What an absolute unknown stud #2 starter.
  4. Agree with everything you said - and the Mets might be the biggest threat in the NL. If Diaz returns to form...look out.
  5. There we go...spoken like a true Philadelphia sports fan! I was at the game this past Friday night, Harper was getting booed like crazy.
  6. 88 at 1:15pm in Maytown. Looks like we might snare a 90 from the jaws of 80s after all.
  7. CTP has 3 days of 90s here but that includes today, which is highly questionable. Only tomorrow and Friday seem "safe" to reach 90. Saturday will be highly dependent on the sun/cloud/rain ratio. Right now my forecast high is upper 80s.
  8. Hagerstown's total is incredible considering that they had a flood in the last week or two.
  9. I can't believe how often you've gotten drenched this year. I was very fortunate a few weeks ago - I was probably a couple of tenths of a mile away from having a monthly total close to a half inch. You seem to be getting hit repeatedly. That's a great find!
  10. What an unbelievable gut punch - look at that little hole in NW Lanco. Wife and I are sitting outside enjoying the evening.
  11. Not a drop here. Phillies bullpen...maybe I was right on Opening Day after all?
  12. 2nd line right behind it has broken into 2 smaller lines with the gap between them heading directly for the LSV.
  13. Nope, only pitchers we traded for are Dominguez, Eflin and Rogers.
  14. Orioles going all out to booster their rotation down the stretch by picking up a starting pitcher with a record of 2 wins, 9 losses...
  15. https://www.millersville.edu/weathercenter/forecasts/weather-discussion.php
  16. Sun just came out a short time ago. Should be heading up more quickly now.
  17. Yep, pretty much what I said. And I forgive you for hating on your hometown team. Also - I view you as a very knowledgeable poster. How in the world do you not know Rax Roast Beef?!?!?
  18. I hate clichés but some are relevant - years like the O's had last year when they didn't lose a series after early May are ridiculously rare. What is much more common is for even the best teams to go into slumps. The 1983 World Champs had 2 separate 7 game losing streaks and had 2 losing months in the midst of their great season overall. It's a very long season and slumps happen. And when your (my) team are in a slump it feels like it's much worse than what it really is. The Phillies are loaded with talent but more importantly are loaded with good guys. No way they don't turn this around. Probably sooner than later. The Yankees can and will hit, their issue like many teams is pitching. More than anything else right now, our favorite teams just aren't swinging the bats well. That will change. Wheeler is fine. I'm much more concerned about Ranger. He needs to spot his pitches and if he's dealing with back issues that becomes problematic.
