  1. Summer vacation season is upon us, a lot of "casual" hockey fans aren't thinking about hockey when it's almost 90...but I saw that earlier today and was surprised as well. I have mixed feelings on the 2-3-2 vs 2-2-1-1-1 setup. I know which one saves a lot of travel expenses.
  2. Partly sunny...some billowing cumulus and some are getting dark. 86 degrees. Latest imagery showing the build ups over the LSV - particularly concentrated either side of the Susky:
  3. MU Weather Center @MUweather Record highs across many states from the central to eastern U.S. will likely be challenged or broken next week. At@millersvilleu, the record highs of 95F/97F on June 18th/19th are the ones to watch. The impending #heatwave could just be the tip of the iceberg this #summer too..
  4. They've been in town the entire week! Vaca in Chocolatetown! Firebirds ridin' Wildcat's Revenge with JNS all week!
  5. No time for the weary...a determined Coachella Valley team awaits.
  6. You're welcome Phillies fans! Your team is now clear of Atlanta by 10 games after we dispatched them tonight. 44-22 and 2nd place. Yankees aren't messing around.
  7. Why? Not wearing a hoodie, I'll tell you that. I mowed over the weekend. I'm still working on getting back into mowing shape.
  8. You can battle it out with @canderson @Bubbler86 first before dealing with me this weekend.
  9. I wouldn't be surprised if you come in and sweep. For years, when the O's were just godawful we would play the Phillies really tough. Won a lot of the series against them. It would only figure that now that Baltimore is very good that the Phillies come in and dominate. Also, there will be as many if not more red in the crowd than orange...the weekend is sold out and I can guarantee that people from the Delaware Valley scooped up the seats.
  10. Models vs Forecasts - CTP has a string of low to mid 90s beginning on Monday, MU is also all in on hot weather next week. The real interesting day to me is this Saturday...forecasts are WAY above what the GFS is showing. Local forecasts are for mid 80s here.
  11. Speaking of which, here's some rarely seen footage of Bubbler at his company's Christmas party last year: (no word from the Bears yet if Bubbler will be a healthy scratch tomorrow night or not) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKMxhmUsac4
  12. All 3 games in Hershey - either team could easily have won all 3. Cleveland has played very well outside of game #3.
  13. Orioles on pace to win 110 games. And that would get them a wildcard.
  14. For years I made the "mistake" of going at dinner - "supper" around our parts. Very, very good. And then, maybe 10-15 years ago a coworker wanted to meet with me and suggested that we do so over breakfast. "Breakfast?" I replied, wondering why people would go eat eggs and bacon when you can get eggs and bacon anywhere... Oh how I was wrong. One trip for breakfast and I was hooked. You all do an amazing job over there...and breakfast is best.
  15. Had to run an errand - it is a postcard morning. Love the contrast between the deep blue sky and the puffy cumulus deck. Stunning day.
  16. And every indication that I've seen points to July and August being even drier than June...
  17. Doesn't the Susky flow south? Listening to Blizz it's like he's had 12" of rain the past few weeks. Where is his water going?
