  1. I got down to 66 last night, which is 6 above the normal low of 60 that I'm seeing. Regardless, the past few evenings have been very nice to be outdoors. The 60 I pulled from the MU climatology page.
  2. Urban vs. Rural - it's down to 77 here and quite pleasant. My wife and I are sitting outside and it's a spectacular evening.
  3. They sure run a lot. Good grief do they have some speed on the bases.
  4. Impressive to drop the first game of both series against the Phillies and the Yanks and come back and win the next 2.
  5. O's finish a grueling 6 game stretch against the Phillies and Yankees 4-2, losing the first game in each series and coming back and taking the next 2. Birds bats were wound up in the Bronx today. Long, long way to go. Birds actually a game up on the Bombers now in the loss column. In the battle of Red Sox predictions, I believe that we have the following: Canderson: 70 - 92 Bubbler: 84-78 Currently the Red Sox are a season-high 5 games over .500. Canderson...this might be the very rare prediction you're wrong on!
  6. I'm not sure I'd put too much stock into a 312 hour temperature map. It is a nice thought though!
  7. Another 93 for me today. 3rd 93 of the week, 4th straight day above 90. 5th total for the year.
  8. Sunshine and 91 at 3:15pm - MU snuck in a single 90 but has been running high 80s most of the afternoon. Looks like MDT is currently at 92.
  9. My head is spinning - it it warmer than normal or not? I never realized how complicated this is.
  10. The 91 on the map east of the river in Lanco appears to be in Maytown. I'm at 88.8 currently.
  11. Dewpoint at MU was down to 63 within the past hour. Definitely lower here than areas north and west.
  12. My in laws had .75" of rain last week. We had them over on Father's Day, talking about how hard it rained at their place while we were sitting on my parched lawn. LOL I'm up to 87.3 currently.
  13. With each passing (dry) day - this map gets more discouraging slowly but steadily:
  14. I will say this about East Nantmeal - depending on where I park for Philly sports events, sometimes it's easier for me to come home via the Turnpike. There have been several occasions during the winter that the weather, whether it was the amount of snow on the ground, the intensity of frozen precip falling, the condition of the turnpike itself...it's always worst right around the Peter J. Camiel Service Plaza westbound. My wife is on to this and will ask out loud when leaving Philly if we'll encounter bad conditions around that service plaza. I just looked up this morning where that service plaza is located... It's either in or directly adjacent to East Nantmeal.
  15. Sunny and 85 at 10:50. 2 degrees below yesterday at this time, temp rise rate is significantly higher than yesterday, though. CTP has me for today through Sunday: 92, 94, 96, 98.
  16. I agree with this sentiment. The first 3 days of the great heatwave of 2024 has not matched the hype and honestly, a lot of local forecasters predictions. What might ultimately be remembered after the fact us the duration and not the intensity. Though...I reserve the right to change my mind at high noon on Sunday sitting in Citizens Bank Park...
  17. Today is the hottest day of the season in Maytown. Reached 93.8 at 4:17pm.
  18. Wait...people go food shopping at places other than Stauffer's?
