  1. Interesting report! I logged in to specifically post how awful it is out there - 85/71 currently. You can cut the humidity in slices.
  2. Yep, Braves have been playing much better lately. Harper post-game last night seemed really concerned about his injury. Schwarber not so much. Phillies lineup facing lefties isn't nearly as potent as when they face right handers...they're not getting much at all from Pache and Merrifield.
  3. My comment was totally in jest. I've been a diehard baseball fan since 1970 - I get it.
  4. It's going to take me some time to not think of Allen Iverson when I see AI.
  5. Thank you for that positive perspective. I needed to see that. I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't get a quarter inch last weekend. It looks every bit D1 here.
  6. I read this to my wife...she responded with "at least someone's getting the shaf*"
  7. My wife and I watered last night because I've lost faith in any and every forecast. I'm glad we did.
  8. Yep, complete shutout here. Tons of thunder but nothing in the bucket.
  9. Considering the amount of cloud cover, I'm surprised the opposite way. 93 on what has essentially become 50/50 sun/clouds at best impresses me. Anything close to full sun and we'd be talking upper 90s for sure.
  10. 92 in Maytown at 2:10pm. Edit: Actually running behind MU for a change, they've already hit 93.
  11. Weak sauce - 90 in Maytown already. Day #9 for the year to reach that mark. (8th time in June)
  12. Sounds like the short range MESOs are all showing very little shear, so the tornado threat has actually diminished some even if the overall threat of severe has remained the same or increased slightly.
  13. Let's hope so. Don't need any damage. Rain is more than welcome.
  14. I had triple the amount that you did and my yard did not respond the way I thought it might. Still pretty much scorched and torched.
  15. MU spouting off .5" - 3.00" totals for tomorrow. Most areas will receive one half to one inch of rain from Wednesday's storms, but as much as 3" may fall in the hardest-hit locations. These higher totals are most likely north of the PA Turnpike and west of I-81 but could occur in more isolated form farther south and east. Larger creeks and rivers won't flood, but the smallest streams could briefly approach or overflow their banks.
  16. I thought Canderson reported a high of 86 yesterday. That was my high for the day. I made it to 89 today.
  17. Sparky Lyle? Wow. That's actually impressive. Did Johnny J. Jones leave his hometown for Pillow?
  18. Thank you for including Dubois. That will make many in here happy.
  19. Yep, it's now mostly overcast here and the temp has dropped to 85.
