  1. The end of the week looks beautiful from what I'm seeing?
  2. You could not have picked a better response - I love that guy. Bill Glass is the name of the Progressive guy in those commercials. I only know this because after I saw him the first time, I had to know. I think I know more about Bill Glass than anyone else on this forum. I laugh out loud every time he's on TV. And why am I bragging about that...
  3. I'm staring down the big 6-0 and ready to embrace my oldness. Also, since this is a weather forum, it's sprinkling. Outside.
  4. I haven't heard or seen anything about this until you posted the link - we are hearing and seeing a lot about significant damage in York last night.
  5. Considering what's fallen over the past 6 weeks...absolutely.
  6. I wonder - MDT had over 2" (right?) while I had .78" SE of the airport and he's SE of me.
  7. I just came back to say that the lightning approaching my area is incredible- nonstop flashes now.
  8. Steady rain. More rain has fallen in the past 45 minutes than the first 20 days of September. Truth.
  9. 83 here in Maytown. Not going to reach 89 most likely but it's plenty warm enough.
  10. I remember fondly reading the paper in our break room. We're too chea... I miss having the print version of the news.
  11. Here's the 5 day map - a lot of what we get doesn't fall until next week: (#mumightstillberightforthisweekendafterall)
  12. Pretty much every time I post a WPC rainfall map it looks drier than the previous one that they issued - but not this time! Much wetter than 24 hours ago: (#mumightnotberightthistime)
  13. JUST missed 90 today - 89.2 was my high. Nice thing about this time of year...down to 64 already at 10:15pm.
  14. I was at the Apple Store on Tuesday and my first thought upon entering the store was "I can't begin to imagine what this place is like on a Saturday." Good luck.
  15. You were mentioning a week or two ago about how quickly we're losing daylight here - in Bethel, they're losing 5 minutes on average every single day now.
  16. Quick walk across campus was enough to remind me that summer isn't over just yet.
  17. For those craving snow right about now, I don't know how I missed this. From August 23rd/24th: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Auruk5EHedw
