  1. Wife and I will be heading downtown as well...fully expect to see a gradient between my house and Lancaster.
  2. You know, after I posted what i did I thought to myself "someone is going to question my statement about it being powdery." Thank you for being the one. It was kind of odd, I thought my driveway was sorta wet and sorta powdery, but that was about the easiest 3.6" I could imagine to clean off the cars. It was VERY powdery. I don't measure QPF content in the snow like @Cashtown_Coop and @CarlislePaWx do, but judging from what Cashtown said earlier it would appear that overall it was NOT very powdery.
  3. We'll see just how much is left. Upper 30s on March 1st plus a fine, powdery snow is not a good combination for retention.
  4. That gradient in Lancaster county is likely to be very real. Me, @Superstorm @pasnownut are going to be riding the line...
  5. @bubbler86 Not sure if you'll be able to do any PBP this weekend? Brian (daxx) is working all weekend and will probably only be able to check in on breaks and then post during the evening some.
  6. Stunned we did a little better over this way. Lanco almost universally is reporting between 3" and 3.5" or so. You guys, and all of the I-81 corridor are going to clean up on Sunday's storm. 6"-12" is looking good. Lanco is the mix zone...I kinda like my positioning in the county being both north and west...
  7. What a way to start off the 0z suite. Time for bed...getting up by 4am for work tomorrow. Looking forward to @Blizzard of 93 posts with maps at about the time I get up...
  8. @daxx You mentioned that a good bit of 12z guidance made a move toward the Euro with the Sunday/Monday system. I'm curious what the latest Euro did in regards to it's own previous runs...is it moving towards the rest (better solution) or did it trend worse from 0z?
  9. Sounds very reasonable. You'll get more than eastern areas tonight, we might even things up tomorrow night.
  10. Okay...he's not enthused for tomorrow night, echoing Brian's (daxx) sentiment about temps in the lowest 5000' of the atmosphere. He's calling for a small slushy mix. He IS calling for a few areas to get up to 5" tonight however. That's all I'm saying from him. I promised myself to chill during my imposed ban.
  11. FWIW..."the guy from Millersville that will go unnamed" is saying that the big show on Sunday/Monday will see the rain/snow line set up between Harrisburg and Philly. Sounds like most of you N&W of me are sitting pretty.
  12. Funny thing is I think all of us actually are pretty much on the same page. I might have caused the confusion because i overlooked the potential for Friday night into early Saturday. And then depending on your preferred model, the Sunday/Monday deal may be a Miller A (most models) or a Miller B (Euro somewhat)
  13. Okay...maybe it was just the Euro that was showing it cutting towards WV and then a secondary popping off of Delmarva.
  14. Thanks...I thought you were talking about the Sunday/Monday deal as that to me looks sort of like a Miller B evolution.
  15. Is this from a developing coastal wave that was originally going to impact areas east of us?
  16. I was assuming there was the system tonight and the next one later Sunday...is there another wave that might bring snow late tomorrow night as well? That potential wasn't even on my radar...
  17. Best wishes to your family. I'm 5 minutes outside of Mount Joy...please bring some of that white gold along with you...
