  1. We talked about it our entire trip. I was fully prepared to melt. And full transparency- some of those days likely were in the at least the low 90s. I wasn't there to keep record keeping. LOL. I do remember talking to my parents back home here and many days were hotter here than Orlando. We also went in mid-September a few years before that...it was hot and humid for sure but we did just fine.
  2. I usually go to Florida in the off-season but spent 2 weeks there in August 2012. It was cooler with identical humidity in Orlando than it was here. Lots of days in the upper 80s.
  3. If it happened as this map depicted, you can laugh all you want as long as a storm in January dropped 15" on my yard while you got 4".
  4. Mt. Holly pulled the trigger on Flood Watches for most of their area, including East Nantmeal.
  5. Thank you for 2 things: 1. Posting that - appreciate the data 2. My comment - I actually meant to say for me "at or above 95" - I will edit my post.
  6. One thing I'm noticing - forecast highs for next week are going up, up, and up some more. Lots of upper 90s/100 for the first several days of the week. Should be into the 20s for days above 90 for the year and double digit days at or above 95. (currently 16/8)
  7. 81 at 2pm. Whatever model last evening was showing 82-83 for a high today (the one I basically mocked at the time) looks like it's going to be SPOT on...
  8. There are purples to my north! Purples to my west! Purples to my east! Purples to my south! They all form a nice ring around me.
  9. Through next Monday night - way too close to feel good about significant rainfall. A slight shift in either direction will matter A LOT:
  10. And this is exhibit A on why I've never and will never bet. I'm going to go down big time.
  11. We'll see what happens - currently sitting at 80.2 at 9:20am. My sense is that it does NOT reach 90. I'm going with 85-88 today. Something to watch on any otherwise benign weather day!
  12. HR Mike bagged .13" tonight. First time over a tenth of an inch in weeks. The line blew up again just east of here. Got something though.
  13. Funny thing- Lee came on my birthday. We went out to dinner that evening. We did not make it home. We spent the night with family because every possible route home that night was closed due to flooding.
  14. I've been thinking about that the past few weeks. My rain drought will end with a 9" monsoon.
  15. @Mount Joy Snowman there is some intensification just west of York city. Right now, I'm positioned perfectly to miss north and south. Hopefully it fills in.
  16. Wow. I've never placed a bet in my life but that's tempting. I'll take the over on that. Maybe not 90 but low 80s? I'm skeptical.
  17. MU calling for 92 here tomorrow. Downsloping winds and lower dews...I would be surprised if I don't hit or exceed 90. Shouldn't have too far to go to get there either.
