  1. "itsrainingtime" is ready for a good soaking Sunday night and Monday.
  2. This. I think as recently as the middle of last week, most of us were certainly aware of what was going on but at the time it seemed more like a nuisance...it was really towards the end of last week that we quickly reached the "oh sh*t" point.
  3. The southern edge of the actual snow shield continues to inch northward just about every model run. In a few days it went from northern MD to now being north of the turnpike.
  4. I'm a blessed man. This week and at least for all of next week I'm working from home. So much appreciate the opportunity to do so.
  5. It could potentially be somewhat more significant than your verbiage suggests, but we'll see.
  6. As Blizz pointed out there are some connections that are better than they have been. However...there's also more than enough that are hostile, and especially given the time of the year...rain or mostly rain has to be favored outside of the higher elevations of northern PA and perhaps the Laurels.
  7. That mauler, shockingly, has already trended just far enough north that instead of me getting several inches of snow, it's now rain. There is no reason why this won't trend farther north in this pattern.
  8. First confirmed PA death from Coronavirus was an adult from Northampton county.
  9. Rain comes with the cold front, but I suspect most of the day is dry with at least a fair amount of sun.
  10. Agree 100%. I am a through and through cold guy...but it's going to be hard not to embrace the weather on Friday on several levels, not the least of which is any potential mitigation of the virus. A long warm stretch would probably be very beneficial right about now.
  11. Interesting...we'll see. It's most likely going to come down to how much sun we get.
  12. Bubbler, what do you think the chances are that some of us take a run at 80 on Friday? BTW - Horst at least mentioned the possibility for a "brush with a little light snow" late Sunday PM... Looks like a pretty stout shot of cold air coming for the weekend.
  13. Not sure why you continue to insist on using plural terms in response to one post. This happened during the winter and now it's continuing. There are a lot of us who are very, very concerned and if you're referring to the majority of us when you say "you guys" then you are 100% wrong.
  14. I'd support a 90 game MLB season. It's the only way to verify that my team won't lose 100 games.
  15. If schools were in session all summer, can you imagine the outcry with family vacation plans?
  16. I'm starting to wonder if schools are finished until the fall. If they indeed close for 8 weeks the kids would be going back with about 2-3 weeks left in this school year.
  17. How? It's looking like we don't get below the mid 40s Wednesday night on our way to at least the mid 60s Thursday.
  18. My son works at a restaurant and has been sent home early the past 2 days due to lack of/no business. Grocery stores are jammed but a lot of restaurants not so much.
  19. Hard to say which is better right now - potentially expose more people or just everything down and kill the economy. Not an easy choice Holy crap, I had no idea how nice it is! My wife says the home station is showing 72.4. Again...we're better at busting warm/hot than anything else.
  20. Add MLB to the list - I now own tickets to 3 events (Sixers, Flyers and Orioles) and will not be attending any of them. An inconvenience for sure...big picture, I hope that this is contained with minimal loss of life and well being soon.
  21. I believe the NHL is making an official statement at 2pm today.
  22. It's taking you a lot of time to find some. Right now my most immediate concern is finding somewhere in the country that has toilet paper. I'm not exactly sure how the remote chance of having a fever and cough equates to a collective nationwide decision to empty store shelves of the stuff, but I digress.
  23. Are you going to be the spring/summer version of Blizz and start posting 10 day severe maps?
  24. It took me a long time...way too long, but I'm there now as well. It's just too nice to go back. .4" isn't going to mean anything going forward anyway.
  25. @MAG5035 my apologies, and boy do I feel stupid...for the past 12 hours I've been posting in 2 threads totally oblivious. What is your biggest snowfall to date for the season?
