  1. Thank you, much appreciated! I had approximately 5 minutes of +SN
  2. You're not kidding! Huge area in slight risk with a large area in the middle under a moderate risk. Horst is already playing up the severe possibility here for Monday.
  3. Anyone have a radar loop from last evening's "event?" I was in bed watching the Sopranos when that thing went through...I wasn't paying attention to the weather at all, when I went to bed it was clear with light winds.
  4. I don't know...for a few minutes I was legitimately concerned. The winds kept getting stronger...stronger...my entire house was shaking last night for at least 10 minutes. I had about 5 minutes of rain and then it quickly flipped to a whiteout of snow. It was a weird combination of awe, excitement and fear, lol. That was something to remember...
  5. I might have been wrong all the way around...it might not be a Turkey Hill cow. I guess you would know since you're there.
  6. Wind Advisory expires at 6pm, so hopefully not much longer.
  7. About 10 minutes before round #1 hit I had a guy on my roof measuring for a replacement - I hollered up and told him he better get wrapped up soon because I didn't want to see him land down on the next block...
  8. That was very impressive here...near zero visibility with heavy rain and strong winds. It was very reminiscent of a snow squall...without the snow.
  9. No offense Blizz - but I couldn't agree with Steve more with this. All of my plants and veggies are running a few weeks early and I say let them grow! There's something reassuring about seeing things in bloom right now despite the doom and gloom all around us.
  10. Meh - we have a cooler pattern upcoming for sure, but it's not going to be THAT bad. During our "cold snap" last week, as soon as the sun came out it felt really good despite the temperature being only around 50. A 50 degree day in mid April feels nothing like a 50 degree day in January... Now when it's raining and 50 - that might be a little depressing.
  11. I've already missed 2 games in Baltimore. I miss baseball like crazy.
  12. The ONLY good thing about snow at this point would be the novelty of it - "hey, do you remember back in 2020 during the Covid 19 pandemic when it actually snowed on April 16th?" Like you said, it's spring. It's my least favorite season of the year by far being the cold weather guy that I am, but snow holds no appeal in the middle of April. I'm counting down the days to the solstice and the slow descent back towards winter...
  13. Regardless of precip type, I'm in for a major noreaster. Even those have been hard to come by recently.
  14. I hate seeing this - sending prayer to you and your extended family.
  15. It's different but we're making it work, and I'm feeding 6. We (wife and I) have been in exactly 1 store over the past 3 weeks. We're getting everything delivered. Perfect? No. Suitable given the conditions? Yes.
  16. Hey, thank you both! That is interesting information to study and tells a clearer story than just a single number...much appreciated!
  17. Lancaster county is BLOWING up...371 confirmed cases, 200 more than York and 253 more than Dauphin.
  18. We have reservations for the Outer Banks in mid June and I've pretty much written that off from happening.
  19. After I posted I saw on WGAL that nearly half of Lanco's cases are in retirement and nursing homes.
  20. What is Cumberland county doing that Lancaster isn't? I remember when Cumberland had 12 confirmed cases and Lancaster was at 2... Today, Lancaster is at 232 and Cumberland is at 45.
  21. Getting some gusty sprinkles from the beast now. Some really awesome (though scary) footage from along the NE coast today.
