  1. It does seem that way. And this year the spinner pointed to our way down here.
  2. I am now over 100 days since I last had 1" of rain in a day. THAT - is one great looking meal!
  3. Was it the GFS that a day or two prior to July 4th had highs in the 70s for the LSV that day? My high was like 15-20 degrees higher than what it showed...I think it was the GFS? Regardless, there were a couple of times last week that the models really put a beatdown on forecasters. I'm not buying into this depiction but I'm also not dismissing it.
  4. ...meanwhile, 6 miles down the road I was at 92 at the same time. Yeah...my high today was 94. I'm thinking the 102 six miles up the road is a little suspect...
  5. Just to be clear - there wasn't any rain within 15 miles of Maytown today...
  6. As it stands right now, today is my 9th warmest day of THIS year. Heat moved west!

  8. Reading all of this has convinced me to fire up the grill this evening. Brats and burgers. HR peeps can't afford fancy ass steaks. :]
  9. Indeed it would. Still hope left to reach 5" for May, June and July combines. I'm at 4.45"
  10. It's going to be hot. Will it be very hot or extremely hot though?
  11. CTP knocking those temps down - last night my forecast high for Tuesday was 103, now just 98. Relief!
  12. Farm down the road from me posted on their stand to buy corn early - crop will be much smaller than normal and the season will be significantly abbreviated.
  13. 2nd and 1 here - current temp is 88.3. 90s should be a formality.
  14. What a colossal bust in Philly - forecast to get up to 4" and we had a few rounds of drizzle. LOL
