  1. In this situation I would be feeling pretty fortunate if I was you.
  2. Horst posted a radar shot on his Twitter that he said looked like a classic tornado signature. He sounded concerned for Lebanon area.
  3. Storms are firing over the central and south central mountains now. Watch is up for a lot of us until 10PM.
  4. Finished with .78" here yesterday. Got clipped last evening from the storm that went through Carlisle and then down through York county.
  5. Hard to believe it's only been 3 weeks since we were talking snow.
  6. Got a lot closer than I thought it would at noon. Right now I'm at 88.6...(I was at 88.2 this morning before the storm) Also...how often are 2 separate severe thunderstorm watches issued for the same counties on the same day? This to me seems very rare.
  7. If you are looking for HOT weather you might be disappointed. However, the GFS has not done well with temps at all lately. If we have sunny days in late June and early July we're bound to at least reach the low 80s. Right?
  8. Got just over .5" of rain here. Little wind or anything else.
  9. I said that earlier...thank you for confirming! Wonderful news!
  10. Not sure. Regardless, when I looked at radar an hour ago the line was coming through Clearfield. It's quickly approaching the capital area now.

  12. They're moving along pretty good. They also appear to be weakening a bit over the past hour or so.
  13. That's an impressive line that is moving pretty quickly SE.
  14. Storms will have a soupy air mass...I'm already at 84.6 and it isn't 9:30am!
  15. @canderson our local severe authority: What do you think of severe potential for tomorrow and Friday?
  16. Really hard to imagine how either a fan of hot weather or cold weather could complain about a day like today. Pretty much perfection...
  17. Know that vantage point very well. What a gorgeous day it is to be there...or anywhere outside!
  18. Nice little bow structure north of Harrisburg.
  19. They look more impressive than the first round.
  20. I wouldn't be surprised if we get wet again but I agree with Crossbow that it will likely weaken.
  21. Wow. Virtually the same thing here. .68" of rain, some wind, and one very close, loud lightning strike. Everything else was distant. Watching western PA myself to see what happens.
  22. 86 here right now. Sky is ominous to my west and northwest but on the current trajectory I'm at least 30 minutes from the first drops here.
  23. I wanted to respond but I'm always wrong anyway. Hate when you don't feel heard though... Storms are firing already in the western LSV. Looks like an active afternoon and evening shaping up...
  24. Yep... 77/72 split at 9AM. Will be interesting to see how much sun we can squeeze out before the arrival of the front. It's pretty gross out this morning.
