  1. Funny how all of the severe today was to be from here north, and yet there are multiple warnings up from DC and points east right now.
  2. That's part of the problem - I posted several hours ago about storms firing in west central PA. They haven't gotten any closer to me yet.
  3. Isolated storms are firing in west central PA now...we wait and see what happens as they move east. SW winds are cranking here now.
  4. Nothing but a few sprinkles down this way. Everything this morning was north as Bubbler said. Not sure if the atmosphere recovers enough for storms later - our friend Canderson would shed better light on that.
  5. I'll meet you in the middle at 84 here. Today is an interesting sort of day - out front I'm sheltered by the breeze and in the midday sun it felt uncomfortable. Walked into my backyard and with a nice west breeze it felt delightful. It's just warm enough and just humid enough that without the breeze it feels a little stuffy.
  6. There's been talk all week about severe on Saturday...Sunday kind of snuck up on us a little bit. But it does seem like Sunday could very well work out better, especially for those of us closer to the M/D line.
  7. Looks like a stormy weekend with several threats centered around overnight/early tomorrow morning, late afternoon and evening Saturday, and then again on Sunday afternoon. Any storm can bring torrential downpours and damaging winds.
  8. Add the trainingtime guy to your list...it was legit here. Special Weather Statement National Weather Service State College PA 453 PM EDT Thu Jun 25 2020 PAZ065-066-252130- York PA-Lancaster PA- 453 PM EDT Thu Jun 25 2020 ...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT PARTS OF LANCASTER AND YORK COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM EDT... 9. Whoa there bubbler of weather information - this event is just unfolding here. Don't call out winners and losers just yet.
  10. Unfortunately, it looks like the trailing cell might largely miss you to the south...
  11. No problem! I posted because I was thinking the same as you. A thundershower each day saves me time from watering plants.
  12. Nasty looking storm on radar advancing east from Rouzerville-land. Radar looks more impressive today than i thought it would - my understanding was just a slight chance of isolated activity?
  13. Any summer day with dews in the 50s = win. Right now I'm at a 84/57 split.
  14. Lots of great information! My parents used to live in Fairbanks and I was finally able to go see where they lived a few years ago. It is a neat thing to experience - my daughters were riding bikes in the evening sun...at midnight.
  15. I was just going to say that my earlier post looks like a hard bust. Very uninspiring around here.
  16. That's plenty. I saw a related post you made last week but I didn't get a chance to respond. Summer solstice is one of my favorite days of the year. Love knowing that our official march towards winter has commenced!
  17. Droughts and Covid bouts will cause some to pout. Anyway, it took some time today but storms are starting to march east through the central and south central mountains. Should be wet in most areas over the next several hours.
  18. It was an unforgettable spring in far too many ways. It can only go uphill from here. Have at it...
  19. @Bubbler86 looks like Rouzerville PA is under a slight risk of excessive rainfall today. Stop hogging all of the moisture...
  20. It really did - I was confident that I'd have a few hours of steady rain this evening. It never made it this far north.
