  1. I didn't predict anything. I was just somewhat surprised by the lack of storm banter today. It's getting dark as crap here now.
  2. Sun is in and out here. I'm at 82 so a decent amount warmer than Cashtown and those to my north. I'm definitely keeping an eye on this - fully recognizing that the threat is far less as you go north of the 'pike.
  3. Sort of agree with you...but I noticed that the winds are NE at Capital City and at MDT, but S at LNS. If I understand correctly, one area to watch for the development of rotating storms is in the vicinity of where winds are veering from different directions. That seems to be set up right over the southern tier right now.
  4. SPC maintains a slight risk for the LSV today with an enhanced risk tickling the southern border. Looks like an active afternoon and evening for a lot of us.
  5. Really good rains here right now. Moderate intensity and soaking in really good.
  6. Give me low sun angle snow anytime. To me, I'd much rather enjoy 6" on the ground for a week than 12" that is essentially gone in 2 days.
  7. And with that comes the risk of some severe weather. SPC mentioning the the threat of upgrading parts of the area both today and tomorrow. We're at 5% TOR for tomorrow already.
  8. I'm doing this as well. Trying to figure out when is the best time to start reseeding.
  9. I was looking at that when I realized that there was nothing over me at the time.
  10. House cleaning continues today, Castro was dealt to the Mets for a AA starter. Lots of young talent acquired...we'll see what it all yields on the field soon enough.
  11. That is great news. I'm at .05" which is perfectly okay after getting 1.4" over the weekend. My temp has been slowly falling the past couple of hours, I'm at 67.
  12. It started raining as I finished typing that - solid rates have me approaching .03"!
  13. We typically walk between 3-5 miles, but it was so nice and being a new trail we kept going. Once I get myself rolling down the trail it takes some doing to get me stopped.
  14. Hard to believe just how wet it might be after today. Spent the entire afternoon outdoors and walked 10 miles on a new trail to us. Great day all around. Now to get you some rain!
  15. Well that was interesting...we just had another cell deliver a direct knockout here. Tremendous wind and rain..probably the hardest it's rained a good while here. Bucket is at 1.17" for the day, 1.40" for the weekend. It was all proceeded by a VERY low shelf cloud that looked super ominous.
  16. I've noticed a lot this year in the Catskills and the Adirondacks, I just don't know how relative to normal it's been. But yes...seems like quite a few up there.
  17. Don't get sucked in - you know darn well if there's sun you're going to crack 80. Only way you don't is if it's raining. (which it very well might) No one, male or female, wants to see the trainer nude. No one. I just asked my wife to verify that.
  18. Now that MAG has gotten some decent rain the past few days, you really are the rain anus of PA. Unreal...
