  1. If that was a snowfall map, I would have had an epic meltdown. I got .17" of rain yesterday. 2 miles to my SE there was nearly 1.5"
  2. Nice little bullseye over Adams county - Franklin county...notsomuch.
  3. Some isolated areas in the DC metro area have eclipsed 6" since 1PM. Not quite as impressive as the 10" in 3 hour deluge that hit Mt. Joy a few years ago, but still...
  4. Just saw that I'm under a flood advisory and that 1" - 2" of rain has already fallen in my area. My gauge says .16" so the worst must be JUST south of me.
  5. Oddly enough, it's rained more than it hasn't since noon here. Yet, most of the rain has fallen when the sun was at least visible if not out completely, and the only times it hasn't been raining is when it's been dark as night. DC area is getting crushed right now. Bad situation developing down in southern MD and DC metro area. Sounds like water rescues are ongoing...
  6. Got about .15" so far and when the rain started it got even worse out. House windows are all steamed up.
  7. Off and on showers the past hour or so here. Very, very muggy out.
  8. Yes it is, and I guess at least in part due to that, Mt. Holly has hoisted flood watches for my bordering counties.
  9. I briefly reached 82 for today's high. I got a couple hours of sun this afternoon or else I wouldn't have cracked 80.
  10. Unless you have a lot more sun than I do, I don't see how you make it to 87 today. I'm at 78 here now.
  11. I have 82 today and 81 tomorrow. Stop hoarding all of the cool air.
  12. That's what I meant when I said winning streak - I should have clarified.
  13. Don't look now, but after 19 consecutive losses to the Bombers at OPCY...the Birds are officially on a winning streak.
  14. Gorgeous day. Felt great to be outside and breathe in fresh air!
  15. My low was 55.2 Forecast high for today is 79, at 11:30am I'm at 80.
  16. @canderson my forecast high for today was 82. It's currently 86.2
  17. Work always gets in the way, doesn't it? I took the week off to paint my living room. My wife is doing a great job.
  18. Warning is up now for Maytown, but the storm is just about ended here.
  19. I'd say I was close to this statement wind-wise. PAZ065-066-032145- York PA-Lancaster PA- 511 PM EDT Thu Sep 3 2020 ...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT PARTS OF LANCASTER AND YORK COUNTIES UNTIL 545 PM EDT... At 511 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm near Manchester, moving east at 35 mph. Wind gusts of up to 50 mph are possible. Locations impacted include... York, Weigelstown, Columbia, Mount Joy, Red Lion, Spry, Dallastown, Shiloh, East York, Stonybrook-Wilshire, West York, Salunga-Landisville, Maytown, Grantley, Tyler Run-Queens Gate, Mountville, Manchester, Hallam, Emigsville and Marietta.
  20. FWIW the winds are howling here now - rain is coming sideways.
  21. I guess that's why I was the only one interested. SPC seemed to be signaling potential today and I ran with it. Didn't mean to mislead anyone.
  22. I didn't predict anything. I was just somewhat surprised by the lack of storm banter today. It's getting dark as crap here now.
