I'm tired. Too many late Euro nights this past week, and a big day tomorrow. Last obs for today:

So the mix line (for those of us who will flip) is currently running through DC metro over to southern DE, moving NW. We'll see how this progresses and how long it lasts once it reaches us later tonight.
This is all sound analysis and reasoning. I know this is location sensitive, but some of us will lose QPF to sleet and freezing rain as well. Not all of the precip depicted is snow down here.
6-12" is my bar. If I get to 6, rest is gravy. Only that I know for certain - I have no control over what I or anyone else gets. Trends aren't good but that isn't surprising really.
Bottom line - still not the time to make definitive statements either way. Lots of moving parts. Tomorrow will bring surprises...where and how will be a nowcast.
