  1. I thought the same thing but was afraid to jinx it. I'm tired. Too many late Euro nights this past week, and a big day tomorrow. Last obs for today: -SN 25.0 degrees 4.9" of snow.
  2. I was just looking through the NAM panels...that was more than just a little change. That was a freaking NAM'ing!
  3. Watching that like a hawk. Might miss me just to my west. If it does, looks like I might not see much in the way of accumulations for some time.
  4. 8:45PM OBS -SN 25.4 degrees Current storm total snowfall: 4.3"
  5. Interestingly, the NAM has been diverging even farther from the pack. It's going to look really bad or...
  6. Euro isn't backing down on amounts and placement. Hard to bet against it, for the most part it's been rock steady.
  7. So the mix line (for those of us who will flip) is currently running through DC metro over to southern DE, moving NW. We'll see how this progresses and how long it lasts once it reaches us later tonight.
  8. Yes sir. As I've been saying for a few days, nothing definitive can be said with this storm. More surprises await.
  9. Our friend Roger just informed the Philly thread to expect 8-50".
  10. That is going to be one sick band tomorrow. Someone is going to score very, very big.
  11. I go for precise measurements. My numbers should always be close to yours.
  12. Then again, a further SE track might imply less mixing for me...
  13. This is all sound analysis and reasoning. I know this is location sensitive, but some of us will lose QPF to sleet and freezing rain as well. Not all of the precip depicted is snow down here.
  14. If this goes down the way the Euro just depicted, I would be thrilled!
  15. 6-12" is my bar. If I get to 6, rest is gravy. Only that I know for certain - I have no control over what I or anyone else gets. Trends aren't good but that isn't surprising really.
  16. Bottom line - still not the time to make definitive statements either way. Lots of moving parts. Tomorrow will bring surprises...where and how will be a nowcast.
