  1. It was 28 earlier this week in Palm Coast where our son in law's parents live. Flurries were seen near Sanford as well.
  2. Speaking of vacations...nothing from Mr. Elliott all week about Sunday. He's off the grid on vacation through Sunday.
  3. My daughter's family is at the Magic Kingdom today. I pick them up at BWI on Tuesday evening. I'm telling them that it might be chillier than what they just experienced on vacation when I drop them off in Mount Joy Tuesday night.
  4. Yeah about that...refer back to my sports team futility post from earlier in the week. I'm numb to the infinite amount of ways that things can go south. Or, specific to snow...north, east and west as well.
  5. No need, he'll do just fine himself this afternoon.
  6. I'm trying to restrain...when was the last time that we jacked with snowfall. Seriously? Settle down Mike...settle down...
  7. Slowly but surely (and as expected by me) the extreme cold next week continues to back off somewhat. In fact, CTP never has me going below 0 at any point. Lows of 1 on Tuesday night and 4 on Wednesday night. Not minimizing those temps. Just an observation that regardless of the level of cold modeled it almost always ends up modifying over time. We'll see what happens next week.
  8. Working late tonight and it's snowing very impressively here at the office. Road was covered in just a few minutes. Hard to tell exactly what the visibility is but it's sub 1/2 mile for sure.
  9. We shall see. Given a blend of all guidance today gives credence to your thought.
  10. That as depicted is beautiful...however, I do not like ever being on the SE fringe of a snowfall map. The pain comes far too often in these situations.
  11. Can't accurately measure here in Conestoga but I'm confident there's less here than up our way. River Road has not been covered at any point. Solid dusting on everything else though. Pretty winter day.
  12. Saw the latest Euro snowfall map it didn't look awful for Sunday...2-4" for most of the LSV? Maybe I was looking at a different image.
  13. Hmm. Everything is white here at work except for our campus. Our facilities team is second to none. Shout out to them. They also keep the hill coming up to the plant clear, far better than Penn Dot.
  14. Mr. Baseball. I remember Bob doing MLB game of the weeks so long ago.
  15. Can you imagine leaving for Florida via I95 and thinking "man, I'm not sure what I'm going to do to avoid getting snowed in down in Florence"
  16. Shades of March 1993 but even a bit further south. Then again though, that wasn't the dead of winter. That was just about the middle of March. Mobile had over 1" of snow from that storm. They sit on the freaking Gulf. That was incredible.
  17. IF...haha, but IF the maps posted above pan out...by Sunday night I will have already eclipsed every single winter snowfall forecast that I saw for our area from any met back in November.
  18. I sincerely hope that everyone is enjoying this winter season. What had all the makings of a "shut the blinds, see 'ya in 2026" year has led to multiple (yes, small, but still) snowfalls. Currently I still have a small amount left from last week, it's currently snowing and we're tracking the next potential event coming in 72 hours. Seems pretty decent to me.
  19. Some great runs in this model suite tonight for Sunday. Would love to have snow on the ground during the arctic blast.
  20. Is it a Capital gain at our expense or does it miss them as well? At this point, I'm prepared for Wilson NC to get more snow than we do in the next 2 weeks.
