Got nearly 9" down this way in Lancaster county. Considering the time of year, the drifting and temps were epic. Not sure that I'd ever see snow blow and drift from an April snowstorm, but it was a scene reminiscent of a storm in January. As you mentioned, my high on the 7th was 28 degrees...remarkable. More than a 30 degree departure below normal.

73.4 here which is the highest of the day. CTP did pretty well today - they put a map on their homepage showing that areas west of the river would be a good 5-7 degrees higher than farther east. Seems to have verified well. MU's weather station is only at 69 right now, so a pretty good difference west to east just across Lanco.

71 now, which was my predicted high. We might tack on a few more yet. Today is National Beer Day Jon. Cheers!

Interesting reading about your perspectives on getting vaccinated down there, here is what I experienced as your neighbor to the north in PA... I received my 1st vaccine on Monday. For those familiar with the Lancaster area, Park City was selected as a countywide mass vaccination center. Every step of the process was 100% painless - I made my appointment online on Saturday for my Monday appointment. Walked in and out of Park City in 23 minutes time...of which 15 minutes was spent waiting once I was vaccinated to confirm that I was fine. It could not have been organized and run more efficiently. I had my 2nd dose scheduled (4/26) about 1 minute after my initial jab. We have thousands, yes thousands of open time slots here in Lanco - still not open to all demographics but with the amount of openings that we have, not sure why we haven't decided to open to all. Our cases are skyrocketing and time is of the essence. That is my 1 post on this. Again, I appreciate reading your experiences and decided to share mine.

Temp jumped 8 degrees here in the past 35 minutes. 66.2 on the station and rising rapidly.

Rain and the temp is down to 58 here... Edit: Looks like it might finally clear off as the shower has passed. .03" in the bucket.

I agree with you about the AL East - I'm just not convinced that the Birds don't take a (small) step back this year. I really miss Alberto in the lineup, and I'm curious to see if Santander can put up similar numbers this year.

We are very much alike in that regard - I hate having "open tabs" mentally. Having lots of things going on simultaneously throws me off big time.

I'm not exactly sure what your diet is, but I highly doubt you'll be adding crow to it.

Not the best timing, but I hope we get some rain over the weekend. This is not the time of year to start worrying about dry weather. I've had less than .5" of rain over the past 10-14 days.

I've had a 13 game plan for most seasons since 1984. O's baseball is still a great value, especially if you bring your own food and attend classic or value games on the schedule. 13 game plans this season start right around $200 for upper reserve between the bags. That's a great deal in 2021 professional sports.

Yep, a mild start will help for sure. 73.2 here currently. Yet another fine spring day.
