Yes, radar is lighting up with storms now. We'll see what happens as they progress east northeast...

Stuff down in WV is already looking impressive - me thinks there's going to be some warnings coming soon in MD, and potentially PA a bit later.

We shall see - looks like SPC upgraded us a bit. I think storms are almost a certainty in some areas. CTP mentioning possible TOR over SE portion of their area. (you and me)

I spent a good part of the day yesterday in Columbia doing training - it rained off an on from 8-11am, but then there was a more steady, light rain from about 11 until I left at 2pm. By the time i got home it was bone dry and my wife was like "what rain?" - at that point the bucket had .01" and it rained just a little bit around supper and then mid-evening.

I finished with a whopping .09" for the entire event yesterday/early this morning.

Wow! That's impressive.

I'm nervous too. I've had 3 gusts over 50 - my temp has slowly fallen from a high of 67 down to 63 now. I'm ready for this to be over, but we have many hours left.

Just had my first gust to 50. Interestingly, the last 30-45 minutes were much calmer than it had been since mid-morning. She's cranking now.

Just had my highest gust yet - 46 mph. It's getting windier by the minute it seems.

KMDT sustained 28 gust 43 at the latest hourly ob - it's going to be something later on.

From 9:55am: Once we get into the mid to late afternoon hours, more dominant downward motion should begin to take over, which, enhanced by downslope northwesterly flow into the Susquehanna Valley, is expected to enhance wind gust potential. We`re still anticipating 50-60 mph gusts in the Lower Susquehanna Valley, with the prime time for gusts between about 3 and 8 pm. Wind gusts of 35-45 mph should be more common across the rest of central PA, with our present configuration of wind hazards remaining in tact.
