  1. 58 here - thought it might get a little lower. I went to bed early last night and it was 63 at 9pm.
  2. I honestly haven't seen a sky like that in a LONG time. We ended up with a 10-15 minute period of heavy rain followed by another 15 minutes of moderate rain.
  3. Three solid rain showers today. What a great day for my lawn and garden: 11:30am: .25" 3:30pm: .12" 7:50pm: .45" Total rainfall today: .82"
  4. Raining "good here" now, but the bite is much less than the bark. If storms were judged by sky presentation going into it, this would have been the storm of the year here. Holy cow was it dark. At any rate, moderate rain continues, final total coming when it's over but I'll pass .50" for the day with ease.
  5. My post didn't age well. A downpour ensued right after I posted. Approaching a quarter inch already.
  6. A few raindrops here now. Nothing measurable yet. 71 degrees.
  7. Down to 75 here, high clouds visible to the west. (still mainly clear here)
  8. Wow...83 here, but still sitting at 80 now at 6:30pm.
  9. I wish he was my governor, that's all I'll say to that. My temp just shot up to 67. Before someone tells me to move, I'll just say that I'd love to. My wife and I have zero debt, we owe no money to anyone. I'm looking to retire in several years and would jump at the chance to head south. I also love my wife of many years very, very much and she is NOT interested in moving to Florida...so it's not really an option for me.
  10. Temps are crashing, down 20 from a high of 88 to 68 currently...
  11. I agree. I find it especially frustrating in the winter when the forecast high is 34 and I reach 40. That's a big deal when a storm's approaching and if the day ends cloudy and you have to wet bulb down to 32.
  12. We've talked in here on and off for quite some time about how often high temperatures are often underdone. It's not just a summer thing, it happens year round. Not sure what the explanation is, but it happens a LOT. Never thought I'd see 88 today.
  13. In September we can pull off a 87/53 high/low. At the end of July, it's going to be difficult to get down near the record low for MDT.
  14. My point and click was raised from 53 to 58 today. I'm thinking closer to 60 than 50, that's for sure. Just reached 87...
  15. It'll be interesting to see if we manage to stay in the 70s here tomorrow under full sun. Wouldn't surprise me to see an 80-81 reading here. By the way, I'm up to 86 now and still climbing. I wonder how low we actually get tonight?
  16. A very warm 85 now. If it wasn't for the breeze it would feel downright hot in the sun. Can't complain too much about heat in August...it is the dog days of summer after all.
