  1. I haven't uttered some of those words since college...
  2. Call me weird but I find these radar loops fascinating: https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/?parms=CCX-N0B-1-24-100-usa-rad Love seeing 2 distinct areas moving in completely opposite directions.
  3. What is that - maybe 50ish miles that separates D0 from D3 on SWPA? The D3 in Philly is warranted solely for their basketball team...
  4. Steady rain and 53 degrees. Rainfall at .62" and counting.
  5. Heavy rain in Maytown. .23" in 8 minutes. Even heavier rain on the doorstep.
  6. https://www.millersville.edu/weathercenter/forecasts/weather-discussion.php
  7. It's going to be time for training for roughly the next 29,541 days.
  8. Mammoth Lakes is going to get buried this weekend. Multiple feet of snow.
  9. Saw that earlier - it's about time. I am beyond sick of #21. I'd rather lose out with no Embiid than win some games with him "playing". Sixers: supreme talent + zero heart = suckage Flyers: marginal talent plus courageous effort = slightly less suckage. LOL
  10. MU at least talking about us southern people seeing our first flakes fly: 1/3 A major storm system will impact the Northeast late this week & drop accumulating snow in parts of the Catskills, Poconos & Apps, but residents across northern MD, southeastern PA & the LSV will be "on the outside looking in." We'll see no more than a few wet snowflakes.. 2/3 .. on Friday. For mid-Atlantic snow-lovers, there are several issues with the storm. First, today's primary low is tracking into northern MN & southern Canada. As a result, there's a southerly component to the wind across nearly all of the eastern U.S. This leads to the.. 3/3 .. next issue: no antecedent cold air mass in place. Instead, temps will be in the 50s/60s locally tomorrow & above freezing up to Hudson Bay. Finally, the coastal low is expected to develop near Long Island, leaving our region on its western (dry) side. SWD to come tomorrow.
  11. 11/15/18 it took me 3.5 hours to drive from Conestoga to Maytown. Thanksgiving 2018 my wife and I walked the River Trail in the morning - according to my own notes, when we left the house at 10am it was 18 degrees with a NW wind of 22 mph.
  12. They are different people - TimB is no longer posting on the forum.
  13. I was active in the Pittsburgh thread over the weekend and TCC was gung ho on the snow train.
  14. To his credit, he's been posting a lot about snow in the Pittsburgh thread. In fact, he was the first to jump on their snow train. I'll give him that.
  15. Back home from Yinzertown. AC is running hard. 68 in Maytown.
  16. Ravens: 2 touchdowns Steelers: 0 touchdowns Tucker: 2 missed FGs Crazy game. AFC North at it's "finest"
  17. This has to be the longest 7-6 first half in NFL history.
  18. 34 downtown for the low. Quite foggy earlier but it's burning off quickly. All of the Pittsburgh stations are talking snow here later this week.
  19. Went to the Pitt - Clemson game this afternoon before the Steelers and Ravens tomorrow. As much as I criticize James Franklin...there's always Pat Narduzzi to outdo him. Pitt had 1st and goal from the 2 in the 3rd quarter and ended up getting 3 consecutive delay of game or procedure calls before another snap. Never seen anything like it.
  20. The guys who should be leading the way are not only not producing, but even worse...not putting out the effort needed. Case in point - Wednesday night was the best game they played so far this season. And look who wasn't available...
  21. Thank goodness for Jared McCain. What a breath of fresh air amongst the stench that is the Philadelphia 76ers.
