  1. Good chance I'll hit 90 tomorrow assuming a lot of sun prior to the frontal passage. We're almost to August, and with it comes further reduction of daylight. One nice thing to look forward to is potentially cooler nights as the month goes on, even if it's a hot day.
  2. Hitting 80 before 10am is a benchmark of mine for really hot days. Mission accomplished today. Hot weather is always a little more tolerable when you can see your way out of it...
  3. Yes sir, full sun here and it's off to the races. Temps will be higher today than Jeff Spicoli was rolling out of the van in Fast Times at Ridgemont High...
  4. Sunny and 91. Had a period of clouds midday but it's been a mostly sunny day here. And hot. Edit: Dewpoint down to 58. That helps.
  5. It started raining down that way about this time yesterday and just kept going. Thing is, it rained hard but from what I could tell, not the real excessive stuff that we sometimes see. It just rained "hard" for hour upon hour.
  6. One thing of note - my dewpoint is crashing. Down from 70 a couple of hours ago to 61 now.
  7. 85 at noon, lots of clouds up there. Doubt seriously I'll get as high as I did yesterday. (which is fine with me) I was gonna bite and jump in on the vaccination/masking discussion...meh, I better not.
  8. My strategy was to try and advance to fall as quickly as possible. LOL Talk about sticky, dew is still a sultry 70 here. I knew it would be hot today but was hoping my dew would be more in the lower 60s by this point.
  9. Yes, a good part of southern Lanco had rains in the afternoon and a 2nd round in the evening.
  10. Plenty of time for any Steelers opponent to go the length of the field, trust me.
  11. Had about 45 minutes of thunder here earlier from the York County action, but nothing ventured across the river here.
  12. This post did not age well at all...O's with sweep #3 of the season, and their first at home. (against the hated Nats to boot)
  13. Hardly any rain around at all...and yet southern Lanco got hit hard this afternoon. Some areas below Quarryville got a couple of inches. (This is second hand information)
  14. Beat 'ya today. Got up to a steamy 94, still 93 here approaching 6pm.
  15. How's our storm chances look today? I see that the LSV is Marginal.
  16. Again, much like the Orioles, all it takes is a horrific owner to decimate a franchise at almost every level. When I was growing up, Washington was a team that NFL fans had a lot of respect for. Sad to see what Snyder did to that fanbase.
  17. That almost looks like a map from springtime...96 in Richmond and 61 at Harrisburg? That's one crazy gradient for this time of year.
  18. That is the great thing about baseball though...any given series a bad team can get hot and string a few wins together, even against a far superior team. The O's have swept a total of 2 series this year. Both on the road. One was at Boston, the other at Houston. Go figure.
  19. We proudly greet tourists to the Historic District with a WGAL sign. High today was 83. Brats are going on the grill. Great summer evening ahead.
  20. 79 at noon. Going to be a great evening for some grilling. Bratwursts are ready to go...
