  1. Yes sir. #hopinglikeyouknowwhatthatthecloudsholdtough
  2. It was quite dark here for a few...and then it was gone. Ain't that the truth? It just happened the other night.
  3. I just walked across campus here at work, and you're right - there is a very noticeable northerly breeze out there. It feels much better than I expected.
  4. Yes we are, but 90 might be a reach today...currently at 84 here. Sort of surprised it's not warmer.
  5. When it comes to severe, I can wait until the end of time. For those that are fans, enjoy the "hunt" tomorrow.
  6. Whatever happens or doesn't happen tomorrow, the weather following looks incredible. And unlike typical summer fronts, instead of having a nice day or perhaps two, it looks like a nice string of days to close out July and start of the dog days.
  7. Best wishes to @sauss06 for a great vacation at the beach!
  8. Yes. They went way too far way too fast. (though, a lot in the country were asking for what they got)
  9. Oh I agree with you more than you know. I don't think it's "right" but my point yesterday was, and is, that the CDC (rightly or wrongly) has caused a lot of confusion and frustration. Hey, it might have been for the right reasons, but that doesn't change the impact the changes have had on the end user.
  10. Actually, that has happened in here in the past as well.
  11. That was my point yesterday...the ineptness of the CDC.
  12. This might be the post of the year...and it has nothing to do with snow and everything to do with life in general. It needed to be said.
  13. I didn't see your post, but I'm sorry it was removed. I don't know why you were singled out.
  14. Word got out, and Susquehanna Regional was waiting for me. At least it got them away from Sheetz and Rutter's for a period of time. Okay, that was wrong. Our police do a great job. Truly. 92.2 here...it's another official heat wave here in Maytown. (93, 91, and 92 so far today)
  15. Worst part about all of this is that I can't go running to Horst to find out what's going to happen. Yes...different opinions are great. I respect yours very much. That's just it - when my kids tell me "NO" to vaccines...I get it. Kind of.
  16. That's a great point! I know for myself how difficult it was after getting the 2nd dose and resisting the urge to out and run naked through the midtown Historic District. Those 2 weeks were more difficult with my patience than the 3 weeks between jabs were.
  17. I'll bite. Once. I'm fully vaccinated and have been for months. My wife just got her first dose last week and will be fully vaccinated in August. None of my 4 grown kids have gotten vaccinated, and all of them have ZERO interest in getting jabbed. As much as I'd personally like them to, and as much as I'd love to see the nationwide percentage be much higher than it is, the CDC has done nothing to instill trust (and confidence) in making Covid-related decisions. My kids were done with all of this months ago...I fear that their tune will change if and when they get sick, which I'm starting to believe increasingly will happen. Fact is, my kids (ages 19 up to 26) are just a small sample of our nation's opinion on this. So many people have tuned out due to changing messages, conflicting reports, he said this, she said that...they're over it. They don't care. Like I said, it bothers me greatly but I can't change their minds. And I go through all of this...all the conversations that we've had, all of the reports that I read, everything that we do know about the virus and it's variants - and I come to the realization that this is something that we're going to be dealing with for a very long time. Right now, the cases seem to be growing at a quicker rate than any of the previous waves. And yet so many people aren't even aware of what's happening AND don't care.
  18. Got to 91 at 1:15...then dropped to 89 at 2:00. Now back up to 91 at 3:00pm.
  19. Great disco guys. Looking forward to my AC only running for 45 minutes each hour. 87 here at 12:30. Looking like 91-92 kind of day to me.
  20. And there you have it. And i agree with you...not sure that made a lot of sense.
  21. It was moved to July last year, but Covid destroyed that idea. I wonder (I honestly don't know) if it had to do with getting more people to attend with schools not in session. I always thought that fall made a better season for fairs.
  22. That 82 south of Elizabethtown is right down the road from me, and matches my current temp perfectly. Ouch to the 86 down near Columbia...also close by to me.
