  1. Another thing to consider - while little happened here, Bucks county got raked. Major car dealership damage in Bensalem. Understand there might be casualties as well.
  2. How about it? Makes you wonder about a guy with his star power moving to his 4th team in 4 years...
  3. For severe weather fans, today was the equivalent of waking up under a WSW for 12-24" of snow that ended producing scattered flurries.
  4. Watching what little activity that has been on radar has been weakening as it moves through the LSV.
  5. It does...I'd rather have no rain (or the .02" that I've mustered) than severe weather any day and night. I can water my lawn but I'll need help fixing damaged property.
  6. That arrow is pointing directly at my house. It's also going to miss @Mount Joy Snowman
  7. You have repeatedly been left to dry. Literally. And it looks like it might happen again.
  8. Maybe not the snow in El Paso part, but the last part of your post happens more than enough.
  9. Just remember how many times the Euro snow maps left you VERY frustrated...
  10. Snipped from CTP's latest disco: TOR Watch #401 remains in effect until 9 PM for southern half of central PA east of the Alleghenies. 40-50kt deep-layer shear profiles in place with 0-3km SRH values 200-300+ m2s2. Discrete rotating cells and or bowing line segments may be possible, producing locally damaging winds and a possible tornado or two. This atmosphere is as sheared as I have seen in central PA, and spinups can happen rapidly, so we`ll be watching closely throughout the afternoon and early evening.
  11. Second. I get tired of all the NAM bashing. Okay, it's usually warranted. But every 5 years it's right. (like January 2016)
  12. Currently at .02" of rain...there is a path (my specific location) to not see another drop of rain today. This assumes that what is currently on radar doesn't grow, reform, etc. Don't think it will happen but it could...
  13. I'm up to 74. It's gross out. Let's get the rain we need and move on the pleasant days ahead.
  14. For the record, I would have agreed 100% with you had I not read that. (and the thoughts of others) I don't recall a significant severe day without ample sun. Like you said...we'll find out soon enough. Hoping like heck you're right. And I am NOT a storm chaser. I am a bonafide storm hater.
  15. Mt Holly mentioned this in their disco this morning - they said that clearing today had little to no bearing on severe potential. (I'm sure that sun wouldn't have hurt) They said that pretty much every box was checked for a severe event today.
  16. My temp has been fluctuating between 80 and 82 for hours. 82 when it's bright, near 80 when the cloud cover thickens. Dewpoint is holding steady at 71.
  17. Certainly NOT saying this will happen, just a thought that occurred to me...how many times has an area been under an enhanced risk with any sort of watch never issued? At this point I think local warnings are more likely than an areal watch.
  18. Indeed. And while @canderson has gotten more overcast, the sun has suddenly burst forth here. For now.
  19. Does anyone know when the next SPC update will be? I wasn't sure exactly how often they update their disco and maps. Thanks.
  20. They were only in a Marginal Risk today with nothing noted by SPC for Tornado chances.
  21. 81.1/72 here. Kind of day when I walk outside, lenses fog up immediately. Sky conditions are the same here...peeks of sun, but overall it's still cloudy.
  22. That line imbedded in the larger rain shield is hauling heading SE.
  23. Hopefully those farts produce some actual drops and not just gas. Ready for some rain.
  24. Interesting snapshot - there is a "weakness" in the deck over Lanco - you can see it over the central part of the county. Sun has actually been peaking out here at work for the past 45 minutes already.
