  1. SPC added a 2nd SLGT area to include the LSV. Sort of an odd looking map for them.
  2. Broken line of storms blowing up fairly quickly in the central/south-central mountains.
  3. I was wondering where you have been. I got frustrated with my iPad and decided to re-gift it to my wife.
  4. Geez, that area has gotten crushed twice this week...
  5. Heroes aren't made in the preseason, but he's doing a lot to show he belongs. I'm honestly not surprised. If he can get what's between the ears figured out, he's a decent backup.
  6. Welcome back @Bubbler86 time to get your mojo back!
  7. Picked up .12" from a brief but intense downpour last night around 11:30pm. My wife and I were outside last evening and could see lightning when the storms were out in true central PA - probably about 3 hours before they arrived. Amazing light show last night!
  8. I think the sun has been obscured here twice this afternoon - it's been pretty much wall to wall sun.
  9. Reached 99 here for a hot moment, cooling off rapidly down to 98 now.
  10. Thanks! I edited my post - working on a project this afternoon and am a little distracted. Work gets in the way of important stuff far too often...
  11. At this very moment, that is my exact temp as well. My dew point is much more comfortable, checking in at 73.1
  12. Obviously, not very intently at all. Shame. As you and Nut pointed out, people rely on official stations for information. Knowing that this is a reality makes me feel even better that I track/record my own personal data. (not that I would ever assume that what I receive would match LNS or MDT anyway)
  13. 45 minutes later and I'm still "only" at 76... That's an impressive turnaround in temps yesterday - when did you reach 98? That was before traditional peak heating time, correct?
  14. I started yesterday at 70...thought it would be a stretch to reach 95, as most really hot days start off closer to the mid 70s. Anyway, I was at 97 by 2:45pm when the clouds moved in ahead of the first storm. I thought it was very impressive to get that high starting off at 70. Absent that mid-afternoon storm, I would have approached 100 yesterday.
  15. @pasnownut doesn't look like that would even be possible - on both days, there were hourly obs of heavy rain, and on both days an additional hourly observation of light rain. How heavy rain only produced .01" yesterday...meh. I received .89" for the past 2 days, and a lot of areas surrounding me did better. Far better.
  16. On the bright side, at least it's PPL and not Met Ed...
  17. Yes sir...free car washes for a lot of us over the next few hours.
  18. Blizz has done well the past couple of days. Man, lots of activity inbound from our west.
