  1. Both Boston and New York have been riding the Comet all season. Looks like the Bombers are peaking the crest right now and Sox might be heading for the first drop.
  2. Already making plans for a trip to Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks in 2024. Time to work on the bucket list. My wife grew a little tired of me last night going on and on about him.
  3. Sure hope so! We're going smack dab in the middle of the peak of hurricane season, and we're cruising to get there. I've been on 4 previous cruises, all during hurricane season. We'll see what happens.
  4. You know, one thing that had me smiling broadly last night was watching #11 flying around on defense for the boys.
  5. I'm sure it will be fantastic wherever you get to spend it. Next year is 25 for us, we're off to Bermuda.
  6. That was my sense as well. I guess as one goes farther south and east, the better the chances.
  7. Any thoughts on storms with the actual front later?
  8. Anytime I see a low in a position that I don't like I'll be warming up the leg...
  9. So, so very true. Sometimes I have to remind myself of this fact and all I need to do is look elsewhere. We really have something special here.
  10. I was looking for a positive after my not-so-positive experience.
  11. It's this forum under "Off Topic" (from the Home Page)
  12. People acting like people do these days. I don't want to derail this thread, if you read the Covid-related thread in Off Topic (last several pages) you'll get up to speed all too quickly.
  13. 2 observations: The sun is now shining. Off Topic is a mess. I ventured in there this morning, I will not again. I do not understand how people can be so incredibly hurtful to others. Our society is in a very dark place when it comes to treating other people well. @TimB84 I don't know how you do it (posting over there), but thank you for sort of defending me.
  14. The storms are all falling below the criteria for severe, but are strong enough to warrant a statement. That's my guess. Last week I was under a special weather statement for winds up to 50 mph...enough to mention, but below the criteria for severe.
  15. SPC has us in the 5% for hail but they don't mention much about tornadoes for any area, even in the SLGT zones.
  16. Got some thunder booming in the distance here now.
  17. Orioles might have a lot to say about who represents the AL Wild Card. Boston and Toronto remain on our schedule...
