  1. Well...it's 81.4 now. Might exceed 82 today after all.
  2. Just hit 67 here. 3 degrees below where I was yesterday at this time.
  3. Well, there is an even warmer reading on that map south of Millersville.
  4. Penn State cannot run the ball in short yardage situations. Not a good look heading into the muscle of the schedule. Have to go to Iowa, the Ohio State University and Michigan State.
  5. Thank you! This is what I wanted to see - an 81 degree reading about an hour after my wife reported 82. Verified again.
  6. At this point I'll probably say goodbye until tomorrow. Maybe. LNS is 77? Hmm...what is up with my reading? What are surrounding Wunderground stations at?
  7. That's pretty incredible as well - wife says it's 82.2 at home now.
  8. Things are going great, so good to be back here today. It's 81.2 at home according to my wife. 72 here in Happy Valley. We stay in a modern cabin at Pinchot during our wintertime visits.
  9. 69 here in University Park. Feeling good with over 5 hours until game time.
  10. 77.4 at 1:35. Looking like 80 is quite possible a day early.
  11. Wow, that is crazy! 71 here less than 20 minutes after your post. Mid to upper 70s is assured. Enjoy your day. Love Pinchot. Heading there later in November.
  12. Well...CTP's low for me tomorrow night is...55
  13. That might end up very close to reality. For the overnight low tomorrow night.
  14. 3rd wettest September on record at MDT - despite being nearly 4" less than what I had:
  15. Any guesses on the high temp Sunday for MDT? I'll start the bidding at 80. (I'll reach 83)
  16. It always has been. Why would this year be different?
  17. Yes, that's why I edited. Sorry for the misunderstanding, 'Boys fans!
  18. What? He was 1-15 in his first season, then went on to win not 1, but 2 Super Bowls. Edit: I'm referring to Jimmy Johnson...
  19. See my post above...most likely more than just next week...
  20. Millersville's Director Of Meteorology look at October: For anybody starting to think that fall may be here to stay, don't be fooled! This is only a temporary change in the weather pattern, and there are no signs that a prolonged stretch of cooler weather is anywhere in sight. Strong and persistent, westerly flow from the Pacific should flood much of Canada and the northern U.S. with unseasonably mild air through at least the first half of October. In addition, a deep trough oscillating between Alaska and the West Coast of the U.S. means the only way we'll get any "chilly" weather here in LanCo. is if a storm system temporarily cuts off over us, leading to persistent clouds and showers. Thus, I foresee a relatively mild October (1-3 degrees above normal) ahead with the number of abnormally warm days outnumbering the number of cool days. On cue with this thinking, unseasonably warm air will rush back into Pennsylvania this weekend as warm, southwesterly flow returns. Highs will easily reach the middle 70s on Saturday, and it's not out of the question we crack or exceed the 80-degree mark on Sunday and/or Monday. Our next chance for rain won't arrive until a cold front pushes slowly eastward through the state later on Monday or Tuesday (Oct. 3-4), and chances are that temperatures behind this front won't fall much below normal (if at all!).
  21. He's improved a lot since the first game. Losing Etienne for the season hurt a lot, and their defense has gone from one of the best of all time to horrid. Having said all that I think they'll win one of their next 2 games. If not, the schedule gets really ugly thereafter.
