  1. .26" for me yesterday, .44" since midnight. 2 day running total at .70" I'll pass on the tornado threat. Paid off my house and became 100% debt free last week, I'd like to keep things intact now.
  2. Partly sunny here at work, pouring at home. Wife says the gauge is changing numbers rapidly...
  3. @Newman as always, great info. Thank you for posting!
  4. I'm working on getting Mike Trout to post here. He is a huge weather weenie.
  5. Very true, which is interesting because even years ago, we'd have called last week a heat wave. I think.
  6. He went to THE Ohio State University which is fail #1. He's not exactly modeled great behavior, which is fail #2. And he's not posting here, which is strike 3.
  7. Word, brother. That's what I've been saying the past few weeks. I'll take the heat now knowing that our time is baking in the oven...
  8. 6-10 outlook is for temps +8 above normal for our area.
  9. No rain here yet, but the moist southerly flow is starting to crank...
  10. I've been saying that for a long time now...pack retention...
  11. Well...WPC still insists that you get between 1.5-2"...so there's a chance.
  12. Hopefully you can get a couple inches out of all of this over the next several days.
  13. Sure seems to be focused on areas west of us, I'll be happy with anything we get honestly. I don't need much rain...I'm still mowing my yard at least twice a week. I mowed this past Thursday and while outside cooking last night I realized that it hardly looked like I had mowed at all. Grass is green and growing fast.
  14. Today...was a stellar late summer day! High of 84, little in the way of humidity. Nice reprieve before another week of stickiness.
  15. I know yesterday, CTP felt like much of our area would see little to no effects from Freddy directly. (best chances west of me, obviously)
  16. WPC says get ready for some drought-helping rains west of the Susquehanna:
  17. That's sobering. I feel like I've missed out a lot the past couple of weeks, but I've still managed to exceed 1" the past several days.
  18. Finished with .15" here - it took almost a full hour to get to that amount.
  19. Steady, but light shower is SLOWLY adding to the gauge. Sitting at .09" so far. No wind, lots of lightning and thunder. Rain has never been more than light at any point. Sort of an odd storm here.
  20. That cell you guys are talking about...wow. It looks impressive on radar. Also - a separate cell has formed east of Dillsburg, that looks like it's going to get the Pinchot/Roundtop area yet again...
