@Mount Joy Snowman in my quest to see snow on the ground, I made the short 15 minute drive to Sam Lewis. It did not disappoint. It's a winter wonderland up here.

So I had a heart to heart with myself last evening (with the primary assist to my wife) after I got home from work - 5:25pm: Wife: "Isn't it supposed to snow tomorrow morning?" Me: "Actually, yes" Wife: "Can you please explain to me why you still have the air conditioner running?" Me: "Well...it's set for 65. It will only run if the actual temp is higher than that, so what's the big deal?" Wife: "You do realize it's 61 in here." Me: "I just walked in the door. How was I supposed to know that?" Wife: "Fix it" Currently, it's 65 in the house and the heat is running. Sigh.

Every time the intensity picks up it becomes predominately snow. Actually, this is heaviest snowfall rate of the day right now here.

Did you clear out last evening? I was outside briefly after supper and noticed that the sky was almost totally clear. I went back inside and asked my wife if she wanted to sit outside and stargaze, the conditions were perfect! My temp had dropped to 32 later in the evening before the clouds moved back in and my temp started to rise again.

Flakes and 33 - my blue Penn State lawn chairs are late to the party but are now actively participating in whiteout conditions. (Wife and I were outside last evening enjoying them)
