  1. 69 here. 70 - 71 or so looks like will be today's high.
  2. 61 here. Bottomed out at 48.6 overnight. Not much of a drop after 10pm.
  3. We need to do a little bit more than "turn it around"... We need Al Michaels to say "Do you believe in Miracles?" and then some.
  4. I gave them too much credit! I predicted them getting down to 51. Tonight, they reach the 40s. Maybe.
  5. Already down to 52 here. Lowest so far since spring here has been 51 to this point.
  6. We've been to the postseason 3 times since the Phillies last appearance. But it sure doesn't feel like it.
  7. LOL, just got out of a meeting and missed this little gem. That was a long, long time ago...
  8. My team had 3 wins after 3 days... ...and only 48 more in the following 176.
  9. Maybe Canderson gets his +8 departure one month late?
  10. I was going to simply suggest reading the manual but I was afraid that it would come across as unfriendly. Best thing I could think of was for me to check myself.
  11. Even with the drier weather and low dewpoints the mosquitoes are still horrible. Walking last evening there is still water laying everything in low spots. I'll be looking for rain by next week, though.
  12. I'll have to take a gander when I get home this evening. I don't remember. Did you get your barometric pressure calibrated?
  13. It looks like my final precip tally for September will be 15.23"
  14. I'm just hoping for the sub zero weather part of that. LOL
  15. You better start beating 51 win teams or you'll be joining the Phillies on the links Monday AM.
  16. It all comes down the current river temperature. I say that in somewhat jest...almost my entire drive to work is within a few hundred feet of the river. On clear, calm mornings from this time of year through early spring, it's a good 2-4 degrees warmer along the river than at home. With fresh snow cover it can be as much as a 10 degree difference.
  17. Jake was our big hope for years until we finally gave up on him. I don't think he ever won more than 6-7 games in a season in Birdland.
  18. Yes. That's why I totally respect the situation. Just because it does nothing for me, it's not about me. I acknowledge that most on here love to see them, so they absolutely should get posted. Why not post things that people want?
  19. Anything can happen in one game. Anything. Hard to bet against St. Louie with what they're doing now.
  20. Couldn't have said it better myself. Except for the me getting excited part. I don't.
  21. Mariners came out of nowhere. Going to be an interesting final 5 days of the season.
  22. Hmm...can't say I haven't sung that tune before. Not sure if you were in here yet last winter...I'm not the super biggest fan of snow maps. HOWEVER...a lot in here are and I respect that.
