    Just walked around campus over lunch - very nice SE breeze blowing. Cloudy with sun peeking through. Home weather station is reading 76.6 right now.

    Those waves to the south...holy cow. Forecast for Rodanthe, NC on the Outer Banks (where I was in early June) is for rain today through Thursday accumulating 7-11". That amount of rain will cause a tremendous amount of flooding - feel for those on vacation this week.

    LOL, I've never been in a fight in my life. It is quite cloudy over this way as well.

    Honestly...I'm quite often very close to their temp readings. The only times I can recall being more than a degree or 2 off is on a clear, calm night with fresh snow cover. Those nights I'll be a good 5-10 degrees lower. I'm always perplexed by the comments in here about their readings because I'm usually really close to what they report.

    Must have been influenced by the cool Susky waters...I got up to 83 here.

    By the way, after the line of showers/storms went through early last evening, it rained again later at night. I picked up .01" additional after midnight.

    That was sort of a joke... Up to 81 here now as well.

    Just reached 80 here. Correct about 2 QBs. Though, Jacksonville might have Lawrence and Tebow.

    Correct. It's going to have to get a LOT colder before I start thinking about long pants or sweatshirts.

    58 here - thought it might get a little lower. I went to bed early last night and it was 63 at 9pm.

    I honestly haven't seen a sky like that in a LONG time. We ended up with a 10-15 minute period of heavy rain followed by another 15 minutes of moderate rain.

    Three solid rain showers today. What a great day for my lawn and garden: 11:30am: .25" 3:30pm: .12" 7:50pm: .45" Total rainfall today: .82"

    Raining "good here" now, but the bite is much less than the bark. If storms were judged by sky presentation going into it, this would have been the storm of the year here. Holy cow was it dark. At any rate, moderate rain continues, final total coming when it's over but I'll pass .50" for the day with ease.
