  1. That might end up very close to reality. For the overnight low tomorrow night.
  2. 3rd wettest September on record at MDT - despite being nearly 4" less than what I had:
  3. Any guesses on the high temp Sunday for MDT? I'll start the bidding at 80. (I'll reach 83)
  4. It always has been. Why would this year be different?
  5. Yes, that's why I edited. Sorry for the misunderstanding, 'Boys fans!
  6. What? He was 1-15 in his first season, then went on to win not 1, but 2 Super Bowls. Edit: I'm referring to Jimmy Johnson...
  7. See my post above...most likely more than just next week...
  8. Millersville's Director Of Meteorology look at October: For anybody starting to think that fall may be here to stay, don't be fooled! This is only a temporary change in the weather pattern, and there are no signs that a prolonged stretch of cooler weather is anywhere in sight. Strong and persistent, westerly flow from the Pacific should flood much of Canada and the northern U.S. with unseasonably mild air through at least the first half of October. In addition, a deep trough oscillating between Alaska and the West Coast of the U.S. means the only way we'll get any "chilly" weather here in LanCo. is if a storm system temporarily cuts off over us, leading to persistent clouds and showers. Thus, I foresee a relatively mild October (1-3 degrees above normal) ahead with the number of abnormally warm days outnumbering the number of cool days. On cue with this thinking, unseasonably warm air will rush back into Pennsylvania this weekend as warm, southwesterly flow returns. Highs will easily reach the middle 70s on Saturday, and it's not out of the question we crack or exceed the 80-degree mark on Sunday and/or Monday. Our next chance for rain won't arrive until a cold front pushes slowly eastward through the state later on Monday or Tuesday (Oct. 3-4), and chances are that temperatures behind this front won't fall much below normal (if at all!).
  9. He's improved a lot since the first game. Losing Etienne for the season hurt a lot, and their defense has gone from one of the best of all time to horrid. Having said all that I think they'll win one of their next 2 games. If not, the schedule gets really ugly thereafter.
  10. 3 years ago the Jacksonville Jaguars played in the AFC Championship game. Last year, they won their first game of the season. They've lost the following 19 and counting...
  11. I mow right up until the day before the first snowfall. I WILL have the shortest grass possible so that my yard is completely covered first.
  12. Sunny and 57. Heading down to the river for a lunchtime walk in the next couple of hours. Gorgeous fall day to be outside!
  13. I'll let it go and move on, sorry but that struck a nerve. Where I come from, if you get beat you tip your cap to the other side instead of turning around and trashing them. Sportsmanship.
  14. Last I checked the O's do not have the worst record in baseball, either.
  15. I completely understand the anger/frustration, and you can speak freely about your team however you want, but the last part of that rant is uncalled for; and honestly, false. Riplan's ERA isn't that much over 4 runs a game. There have been some HOF "junkball pitchers" as well.
  16. I hope you understand that I wasn't trying to show you up. I honestly hesitated posting what I did for that reason. I also know you keep records and that events stick with you, which is why I was surprised that you didn't remember those storms. When I saw your post yesterday about March snow my first thought was that you must have gotten an early start to the weekend.
  17. And in turn, CTP has taken me from "likely" to "chance" of rain next week.
