  1. 95/74 here. Watching that storm you all are referring to...looks like it might be a close miss north. We'll see if it expands enough to get me. Edit: Warning issued for my locale, we shall see...
  2. Better than good. Agreed. Just reached 90 here. Yes we were! (well, most of you were...I can't tell if that line goes through my front or back yard)
  3. Wow, congrats on the storm last evening. It might have been the poorest excuse for a warned storm here in my 'hood, but I was thinking that you were getting a pretty good smackdown. You sort of deserved it after a season full of heartache...
  4. Nick's House Of Ribs is where I celebrate many a birthday. REALLY good, tender, flavor...yeah. My only complaint is that often we'll get our food within 5 minutes of ordering. It almost comes out TOO fast.
  5. I had a feeling...:) Very little rain, wind, lightning...anything here. Sun was out the final hour or so of daylight.
  6. Only received .18" here, but just to my south, they are getting crushed.
  7. So far, trainingtime is watching the train roll right on by all around me. Heavy storms on 3 sides, not a drop here yet. Have to see if the stuff in York makes it here.
  8. 93 here, watching that area out west blossom as it moves east...
  9. Yep, I agree pretty much. I think between 7-9 wins is quite possible if healthy. Outside of that, it's going to be a long fall in the Steel City.
  10. That's lower than what it will probably be on 11/15 when I'm out there.
  11. I thought it was very aggressive, hence my specific post! 95 huh? Stealing all of my heat, haha. I'm at 92 now.
  12. 91 at home, day #3 of the current run. 8/8 - 92 8/9 - 91 8/10 - 91 (so far)
  13. CTP upping the ante big time this afternoon for storms- took me from a 40% pop up to 80%.
  14. I never thought we had run the clock out on big time heat. If the Steelers are going to be the analogy of this week's weather...well, I can't think of a worse team in football to run out the clock than the black and gold. Hopefully, after this week we build large enough leads that we don't have to worry about running out the clock.
  15. Not sure if MDT reaches the century mark, but I fully expect locations in the LSV to reach or exceed that mark...dependent on copious amounts of sun, of course.
  16. CTP's disco this morning mentions the possibility of an Excessive Heat Warning (1st of the year) by Thursday: Our latest forecast has max heat index values reaching 100-104F advisory range on Wednesday with excessive heat warning criteria possible on Thursday. Heat headlines are likely to be issued by the dayshift.
  17. Sure did! I was out front watering last evening and watching the towers just sit there. I arrived at work this morning to a nice little shower. Nothing at home.
  18. I thought the same thing over the weekend when I saw we were on the same page over multiple days. Everyone is resting up now for the big winter...
  19. Just hit 90. Looks like this is day #2 of at least 6 straight days of 90+ temps.
  20. Question is - who and when will people receive rainfall? Seems like some water is a good bet for some folks, but then again, many might not get anything until the weekend at least.
  21. After reaching 92 yesterday, today looks like it'll be close to 90 again. Rest of the work week looks like 90 is pretty much a given, with highs later in the week reaching the mid 90s...at least.
