    We'll see what happens tomorrow. I've been running across campus here all day, and it's definitely one of those "it feels really warm" when in a sunny, protected spot and a "it feels almost coolish" when walking in the wind and in a shady area kind of day.

    Wasn't it one of the Cowboy receivers from back in the day (Butch Johnson?) who sort of started all of this with the California Quake (something like that?) dance after scoring? He was the first player in my foggy memory that went excessive after scoring. And no, I'm not saying that because he was a Cowboy...that is what I remember.

    Who was the guy that caught the TD pass in OT on Sunday, took a hit after he had already scored, and then got up and waved to the defender? I'm very much old school and much prefer the days when a player would score and then run over and hand the official the ball. Having said that...I thought that was kind of funny on Sunday.

    A lot of Red Sox fans had written the team off less than a month ago. I know the yearly thread on this forum was far less active than in years past. Pretty special run the team is on right now. Starting to get that feeling that this might be their year...

    This might be the optimal time of the year (minus mornings with fresh snow cover) when I tend to come in several degrees lower than MDT. Not sure if there's a water temp situation that keeps them higher right now until the river temp drops significantly.

    A-Basin opened for the season on Sunday with an 18" base. Out west has been doing well with natural snow plus cold for extra snowmaking conditions. It was a bad winter for the ski industry last winter for several reasons...nice to see the resorts out west opening this early.

    No rain at all here today. High for the day was 60.

    Left for work at 6 this morning and it felt great in a short sleeve shirt. Very refreshing.

    Please, no snow yet. Please... I'm not superstitious except for snow. Early snow like that = not a good winter. (from memory)

    Just got out of meetings. What exactly happened? I thought the fan reaction to the Seahawk injury was fine.

    Was 48 when I went to bed at midnight. Woke up 6 hours later and it's 50.
