    I continue to marvel at the temperature discrepancy across our area. Many western areas of the LSV are in the teens while here in Lancaster it's generally between 25 and 30. Up to 28 at MU now.

    I was going to question the 1/2"/hour rates you mentioned based on obs to the south. Not seeing many reports of heavy snow until well down in VA.

    Geez, I'm up to 25 with no sign of the temp leveling off. Going to be a huge difference in weather between Lanco and areas N&W.

    Definitely. I was just checking cams on 81 down through VA - holy crap is it dumping down near Charlottesville and especially down close to Roanoke.

    That's great for you! I'm still climbing fairly rapidly despite the overcast...up to 24.3 here.

    I still think I'll end up right around 2" and MDT comes in under 3". Hope I'm wrong, won't have to wait much longer for my wrongness to be verified.

    Snow will arrive first in Franklin & Adams Co.'s around 2:30-3 p.m. & overspread Lancaster & Lebanon Co.'s btw. ~ 3:30 & 4:30 p.m. A changeover to sleet will occur from south-to-north across the Valley btw. ~ 8 & 10 p.m., with a transition to plain rain btw. ~ 11 p.m. & midnight. - MU this afternoon

    Reading conflicting reports from our friends to the south. One poster near Charlotte said the event outperformed guidance overnight, someone from Richmond said what was to be about 3-4 hours of snow lasted less than 1 hour before the flip.

    It has gotten overcast here very quickly. Hopefully that slows the temp rise. Would love to start out the precip with temp near 20.

    I'll go with 2.6" for the airport. You probably get to 3", Blizz might tack on a half inch from there. This is just based off climo more than anything else.

    1-3" seems to ride up to Elizabethtown, where they transition to 2-4". Honestly, if I see 2" I'll call it a win.
