    Got to 57 here, 52 now. Wife and I walked at lunchtime and I was sweating a lot the last couple of miles.

    I think you and I have temporarily taken on each other's personalities. Truly, there is little to be excited about for wintry weather anytime soon. Pattern looks putrid for snow lovers, that's for sure. I've been watching this setup for next week and thinking "well...why not...there ain't nothing else to look at anytime soon" kind of thing. Whether we get anything wintry or not next week, this month will likely go down as well above normal in the temp department, and likely below for snowfall.

    Well...this weather pattern is a disappointment for sure. As someone said earlier, let's try and enjoy the warmer weather while we have it. It's the only weather we got.

    In the Sierra they were under a Winter Weather Advisory last winter for snow showers, possibly heavy at times, accumulating 38" -46". That was for the overnight...

    Yes it does. Should be a great weekend for debris/leaf cleanup. CTP has added snow, rain, and freezing rain to my forecast for Tuesday night/Wednesday.

    44 and sunny this morning. Last evening's winds produced some lost shingles from my neighbor's roof down the road. There are multiple large branches down in my yard and I understand the river trail is closed in spots due to down trees across the trail. That was a lot more wind than I've had from many a wind advisory...

    63 here now. Rise in temps has slowed greatly despite a lot of sun. Doubt will go much higher as this time of year we usually max out by 3pm even on sunny days.

    Yes sir - sure looks like our ONLY chance at anything wintry anytime soon is in about 5-6 days. And it's a small chance at that. Afterwards, the Trainer's AC will be deployed to active duty.

    Looks like my 60-62 was a bust too low...62.2 here now and rising quite rapidly.

    Yeah, I don't think that's happening. Could see a spike to maybe 60-62 or so.

    Skies are clearing across the river as I type this. Sitting at 52 right now...with sun on the doorstep, 60 is well within reach.
