  1. You must have missed what came through here last night. Winds were definitely stronger than that. And by a good bit, too.
  2. Guarantee they'll win this coming Friday night! (my next 76ers loss)
  3. I sure don't think so. I think this weekend needs watched very closely. Still think, especially for SE areas that we might score.
  4. Skies are starting to clear now. That was a fun storm to track, and packed quite a wallop. And oh yeah...it's trash night here. Which means that it's time for the winds to start doing their thing.
  5. Okay, this is very well done! Thanks for the Monday morning laugh!
  6. With this morning's snow, I've reached 4" of total accumulation for the storm. Ground truth right now is closer to 1.5", but as Anotherman said, given the extreme rainfall rates overnight I fully expected to see nothing but green and some piles this morning.
  7. Those are very good points. GFS was the first to head west.
  8. NAM stirs up a lot of emotions...I'll continue to defend as it does better than a lot give it credit for.
  9. @Bubbler86 not sure if you saw my post early this morning but I picked up over 1" of rain. I forget which model (maybe the HRRR?) you shared with me the other day predicted that, but I got a LOT more rain than just about any other model had for me.
  10. Morning - I was thinking about this on my way to the office today...overall though, looking at reports from OH, NY, and western PA it "seemed" to me like the NAM did better than most. I guess with a system this complex AND dynamic there will be areas of joy and sorrow, but the NAM's original insistence on how far N&W the mixed precip would get was pretty darn good I think.
  11. My impression over all these years is that one thing you can count on with winter storms is that the forecasted winds always underperform. Not with this bad boy. It was raging late last evening. I fully expected to end up in the dark and was shocked that I didn't.
  12. What a storm! Currently, it's 33.8 with -SN falling once again. Current pressure is 29.02" I picked up 3.7" of total snow/sleet accumulation, followed by a drenching 1.03" of rainfall. Heaviest rain fell between 11:30pm and 12:00am when .46" fell accompanied by strong winds and at least one flash of lightning. Surprisingly, the yard is still 100% covered. The sleet helped it survive the onslaught.
  13. Pouring rain here. Quarter inch of liquid so far. 35 degrees.
  14. 34 and light rain. .06" of rain so far. Pressure now 29.46" and falling.
  15. I got close to 4" and I celebrated that several times...
  16. Horrible way to go out for the season. At least the Black and Gold are working hard to not be anywhere close to that position.
  17. Going to be close for some of us - 31.2 here at 9:52pm.
  18. @CarlislePaWx- pressure fall is very impressive. I'm down to 29.60"...
