  1. Trust me, I'm well aware of March snows. I can recall at least 7-8 March storms of 1'+ storms. I also have painful memories of how quickly said snows disappear. (with a few notable exceptions) One of my favorite storms ever was in April 1982. 9" of pure powder with incredible drifting.
  2. I got down to 32, was surprised it was clear this morning as I was expecting some clouds and perhaps even a shower. Jon, I feel exactly the same way. Not sure why I feel ready for spring...but I kind of do. And despite how bleak things may look for the foreseeable future, we both know well enough that the moment we call off the dogs on winter, it'll come back and get us. Way too soon to say it's over definitively.
  3. MU Tweet this morning: Our season-to-date snowfall total at @millersvilleu is 7.9" through February 10. Assuming we get no snow through Saturday, we'll be at a measly 43% of normal, which is ~18.3" through Feb. 12.
  4. March is such a hard month to figure - anything really is plausible. I could totally see the blinds being completely shut the entire month, and I could also see a mid-month bomb that has all of us wondering "where has this been all winter?" March might be the most difficult month to guess what will happen several weeks out.
  5. And there it is! Bryan Anger punts for 43 yards, downed at the 2 yard line!
  6. I feel baited. The answer however is no. Not sure I'll survive without it tomorrow and Saturday...
  7. Someone called? Hey, we've relaxed the attire here in the office sometime ago, but I still have to wear jeans. I got home at 4:30 yesterday. At 4:35 I was in shorts and on my way to the trail with my wife.
  8. I sure hope not. Not enthused for a 32 year old shooter who historically waves a red cape on defense. I will not be happy if it happens. Much better options out there for this team.
  9. Playing devil's advocate - can he bump your post if it doesn't snow again this winter?
  10. Good read for the weekend threat: (and to Nut's point earlier - this might be one of, it not our last true hurrah...) https://www.millersville.edu/weathercenter/forecasts/weather-discussion.php
  11. AC will be running VERY soon. (Friday and Saturday)
  12. Well, our good neighbors from up north decided that the low should be centered over Wilmington, DE and provide a good soaking rain for eastern PA with snow out west. Just another possible solution in the 'ole bag of tricks.
  13. Virtually nothing in Harrisburg to 7" in Baltimore to 10" in the DC suburbs. If it went down like that, I'll be ready for spring. Until the next opportunity.
  14. Yep, I think there's way too much chaos in the atmosphere right now for anything to lock in (or lock out) more than a few days in advance. This Sunday could end up looking even better in the days ahead... ...or, it might not. LOL
  15. Great way to run a Super Bowl - snow flyin' and pilin'....
  16. Was surprised that it got as cold as it did, we radiated out well last night. I was right behind you at 20.
  17. Elliott says that the ridge axis favors a direct hit this weekend but the progressive nature of the pattern favors a miss. Our ground truth Sunday ultimately comes down to which feature wins out. So far this winter, it's been the progressiveness of the pattern.
  18. Had the same mixture last evening. Woke up early this morning to one of the thicker frosts of the season. That in conjunction with the leftover moisture provided some interesting driving conditions on the way down 441 this morning. At any rate - it's quickly turning into a glorious morning with the promise of more beautiful weather to come. Going to enjoy every bit of it.
