  1. Wow. Is there any other guidance even close to that?
  2. Yeah...a lot of people are going to be in for a rude awakening. In the span of 2 weeks we'll go from Saturday temps in the 40s to the 90s.
  3. It's an equally pleasant 65 here. Just walked across campus and it was nice to get out for a little.
  4. Actually no. I haven't looked at a model in quite some time. I'm basing my call on memory from similar temp/dew/wind component/cloud cover nights in the past. Just seems like we're primed for a night where a lot of areas don't make it below 70. An uneducated guess if you will. LOL
  5. Eovaldi went on the DL last night from neck soreness. (lots of turning watching balls sail out of Fenway)
  6. 79.2 - looks like I might end up just shy of 80 today.
  7. @Mount Joy Snowman - Peter Sinks "only" got down to 20.7 overnight. I'm hooked on that station.
  8. Looks like temps on both Friday and Saturday nights might not drop below 70. Impressive for May.
  9. Save this for posterity - there will be a storm this year that get like 4" from and I'm left high and dry. It's coming.
  10. Yeah...I thought about that when I posted. The Suns scored like 8 points in the final 30 seconds. LOL
  11. Oh yes, I did see that! I was going to comment about that yesterday until work got in the way.
  12. I finished with a half inch on the nose yesterday to "finish" with 1.27" since Friday evening.
  13. The Red Sox thread on this forum is unreadable. People were giving up on the team weeks ago. Do people not learn anything from history? Last year, the Sox started off by getting swept at home by the Orioles and were floundering during April. We saw how that ended. LOL Pennants aren't won in May. (though, if you fall far enough back it can be difficult to win the division, but with all of the wild cards now, the Sox have plenty of time to make up ground.) Shoot - July 19th (that's a little over 2 months from now) 1978 the Yankees trailed the Red Sox by 14 games...guess who won the division? Bucky f'ing Dent. LOL
  14. It was brief but very intense. Hail didn't meet severe criteria...winds might have been close but I don't have the means for an accurate measurement. Regardless, it was a solid storm.
  15. Small hail and crazy winds in Maytown. Half inch of rain in 8 minutes.
  16. 100% agreed. Rain is fine, keep the nasty stuff away please.
  17. From Elliott within the past 30 minutes: It appears that a large portion of the Lower Susquehanna Valley & northern MD may be spared, or "gapped," by the worst of the storms
  18. Severe Thunderstorm Watch for pretty much everyone until 2pm - do we get a 2nd watch later, or will be free and clear in the next several hours?
  19. My son went to Jon Shehan's summer camps. I have a ton of respect for him as a coach but even more so as a human being. Great guy, great program. Poole really struggled recently. Warriors will need him to step up. Tis the season for big winners and losers I realize...but it's uncanny how often I get significantly more rain than you do.
  20. I was fortunate to be just inside that sliver in western Lanco that got significant rain. I feel bad for the Snowman though.
  21. So...yeah. .31" yesterday was in addition to the .42" on Saturday and .04" Friday evening for a 3 day total of... .77"
  22. Much like a sports team, Blizz built himself a cushion knowing that the warminsta's will be making a run soon...
  23. Suns put up 63 in the 2nd half and lose by 33. Congrats to the Mavs. Well done.
