  1. Negative zero is when the actual temp is - 0.2. Zero is when the temp is 0.2 That's all I got.
  2. You aren't kidding - Euro jumping around more than the 76ers defense trying to stop Doncic.
  3. Well...at least for the past couple of winters, you're exactly right.
  4. NAM really doubling down on the ice threat. Timing would maximize the potential.
  5. Like night and day better. I could care a less that's out to sea at this stage.
  6. It might very well (in fact, odds may favor) be a miss - but it's got more potential than this Thursday/Friday event. Even at it's best depiction, we were on the southern fringe of the best snows on the GFS - yeah, that often works out well for us. I'd rather the snow show up to our south than north.
  7. If in the LSV and hoping for snow, I'd be more interested in Sunday/Monday storm than the Friday deal. Weekend storm was MUCH better on the Euro.
  8. I was just going to comment that a LOT of that was sleet.
  9. I'm with you Jon - if it snows, great. But it's past my favorite time for it to snow, so I'm just as happy at this point for a string of days just like today.
  10. In all honesty- we ran for the car on approach. No, really, we walked the Marietta portion yesterday and were not down at Chickies. But at least we now know to avoid that area.
  11. Today is going to be incredible - hoping to get out of the office early today and hit the trail this afternoon. 60, here we come!
  12. You are correct. Embiid had a great game. He was outgunned by the best shooter that ever played in the NBA.
  13. Not sure what you're saying? I simply said that the GFS was trending towards the Euro. To me, that's good. Snow I'll take. Ice, not so much. GFS did very well (better then most other models including the Euro) with a couple of storms earlier this winter. That's another fact. I probably said as much at the time. I wasn't being negative in any way. I simply stated what I saw. And I was happy to see it. The storm on Thursday/Friday (to me) was always an extremely low probability storm for snow for the LSV.
  14. 5th consecutive run of the GFS that moved towards the Euro. Good. I want no part of ice.
  15. I'm honestly afraid to say this here...I said to my wife when we got back to our car - I kind of wish winter was over. It felt really good out there on the trail.
  16. Spectacular Sunday! Sunday and 41. Just back from a glorious walk along the river.
  17. The snow hole area from last Sunday did better today it seemed.
  18. Euro with a very nice snowstorm on the 28th. For central VA and the Tidewater.
  19. Post mortem for the squall here - picked up .3" of snow in 17 minutes. Temp dropped from 40.5 at the onset to 29.2 at it's lowest, that all happened in 12 minutes. Sun is returning now and the temp is 30.2 That was a cool little event!
  20. Temp down to 29. Ground is covered. Edit: starting to lighten up now.
