It might very well (in fact, odds may favor) be a miss - but it's got more potential than this Thursday/Friday event. Even at it's best depiction, we were on the southern fringe of the best snows on the GFS - yeah, that often works out well for us. I'd rather the snow show up to our south than north.

If in the LSV and hoping for snow, I'd be more interested in Sunday/Monday storm than the Friday deal. Weekend storm was MUCH better on the Euro.

Not sure what you're saying? I simply said that the GFS was trending towards the Euro. To me, that's good. Snow I'll take. Ice, not so much. GFS did very well (better then most other models including the Euro) with a couple of storms earlier this winter. That's another fact. I probably said as much at the time. I wasn't being negative in any way. I simply stated what I saw. And I was happy to see it. The storm on Thursday/Friday (to me) was always an extremely low probability storm for snow for the LSV.

Post mortem for the squall here - picked up .3" of snow in 17 minutes. Temp dropped from 40.5 at the onset to 29.2 at it's lowest, that all happened in 12 minutes. Sun is returning now and the temp is 30.2 That was a cool little event!
