  1. Wow...SE portions of our area just got upgraded to ENH:
  2. Okay, that makes sense. Severe threat seems to be greater the farther NE one goes, so that supports what you're saying.
  3. Just saw that as well. Interesting little "war" today between the models/most forecasters vs. MU - at least yesterday PM, he was thinking best rain chances for today was going to be in northern PA...
  4. It hasn't been quite as constantly been in the 50s here - one thing I've noticed this summer compared to last year especially is generally overall lower dews. For me, it's all in my lenses. Last summer, it seemed like for months on end, every time I'd walk outside, my glasses fogged up immediately. It's only happened a few times so far this summer. That's my highly scientific measurement that this summer has been more pleasant. LOL
  5. I was in the process of posting that it got a few degrees cooler last night than forecast for my area. That's VERY unusual for any time of the year. CTP had a forecast low of 68, I got down to 65. Currently it's sunny and 70.
  6. Meh...neither is good. Steelers playing home games on a field named after a Michigan company. Awful.
  7. Sunny skies with a splash and dash of cumulus. 82 degrees. The perfect summer day.
  8. Yeah...after another "Haves and Have Nots" day tomorrow, chances dwindle once again.
  9. I know that these maps shouldn't be used for a whole lot more than a rough idea of what might happen, but if this depiction is correct, the dry folks will continue to get...drier.
  10. Very nice summer day. Reminds me of summer days as a kid minus the haze in the sky.
  11. High today was 86 here in the historic district. Still sitting at 14 days of 90 degree highs.
  12. I have zero expectations for that, I'm thrilled they are getting noticed for something positive for a change.
  13. Longest winning streak in 17 years for the O's...
  14. More useless information - I grew up in Washington Boro and for years my father was the president of the Tomato Festival committee. A ton of great memories down at the park. We are going next weekend and it'll be a homecoming of sorts
  15. Ran into drizzle just below Shrewsbury on my way to Baltimore and had it on and off most of the afternoon and early evening. Got home about 9pm to almost perfectly clear skies. A pleasant 66 now.
  16. Agreed. Approaching the time period that separates good and bad GMs. More is needed...but what's the cost to do that? Excited to have this type of conversation.
  17. 7 in a row! On the Light Rail heading home now. Over 32,000 on a miserable day in Baltimore. Crowd was rocking. Took me back to my childhood.
  18. Classic game that I fell in love with back in the early 1970s. I will get way more excited over a 2-1 game than a slugfest any day.
  19. High today was 76 at home. It's currently 73 in downtown Baltimore as the Angels rally.
  20. Wow. Finished with .06" here. Pretty big fail from what I was seeing.
  21. I thought the models were all over the place- one model today had 3" for me tonight.
  22. Went to my first game in 1977. I was 12, it took me that long to convince my dad to make the drive down from Lancaster county. In 1984 I bought my first season ticket plan at 19...had them until 1997 when marriage, kids, and career made the constant travel no longer feasible. Since then it's been a game here and there. Heading down for tomorrow's game. Going back in August for the 30th anniversary night for Camden Yards. We Orioles fans have suffered long enough. This year is fun. - Diehard black and orange fan from PA.
