  1. I'll admit I definitely jumped in hook, line and sinker. I envisioned a completely different scene than what I'm looking at in reality.
  2. That's very true. And he was hyping blizzard conditions pretty hard.
  3. Understood. A couple of my kids texted me a little while ago asking me why I told them to stay off the roads today. Dad isn't looking so good with that call. LOL
  4. We shall see - MU said a little while ago that the main show will be over by noon.
  5. I wonder...is the arctic front draining dry air into this system and eroding the moisture flow? I'm trying to figure out a good reason why most of us east of you are really underperforming. I won't end up with more than you - some of what I did have is melting. I have less than 2" OTG.
  6. I didn't think this would happen with this storm, but it's clearly a case of haves and have nots. Congrats!
  7. I had about 30 minutes of heavier snow. Right now, their are flurries and melting in progress. Road is almost completely clear. Even at 30 degrees, on March 12th approaching midday, this stuff will melt unless rates increase significantly.
  8. Lanco? Not in this part at least. I'm pretty sure I have about the same, or potentially a little less than you do.
  9. Same here - my road is 50/50 wet/slushy. Never even fully caved. Snow is borderline light/flurries.
  10. After a period of very heavy snow, I'm stuck in between the I81 band and a separate heavy band across central and eastern Lanco. Very light snow falling here now. Skies have brightened and visibility is way up for now.
  11. Is this at least somewhat like living in Denver? Several hours ago I was walking the river trail in a short sleeve shirt. Potential blizzard conditions hours later. By Monday, sun and near 60 again. Good times to be a weather fan.
  12. Ain't going to lie...I was thinking about that a few hours ago.
  13. I allow myself an exception for rare occurrences. Like one or two per winter season. I think this is #2 for me. I'm still recovering from the trauma of posting it.
  14. Same for me - I wish we were able to read the text output for the warning in our area.
  15. Another update from MU: (2nd half of Anotherman's earlier post) 2/2 In addition, strong upward motion in the Dendritic Growth Zone (DGZ) means that snowfall rates of 1-2" per hour are likely for a few hours. And yes, with dynamics this impressive, I expect there to be at least some incidents of the elusive #Thundersnow! Maps: @TropicalTidbits
  16. Is that the total? That map ends at 1pm - not sure if there's anything after that.
  17. Why? Because the Candy Man can! LOL Elliott at MU now calling for heavy snow tomorrow...
  18. I had a feeling back on Monday that this could be the real deal. I'm going all in now.
  19. On a brighter note - 0z Euro looks pretty good at a quick glance.
  20. It's not one regular season game. Last month they lost at home to Boston by how many? 50. At home. National TV. Further, even while they've been winning recently, their defense has been horrid. Routinely giving up between 60-75 points in the first half of games. You simply will not get away with that against good teams. The Sixers are a good team but far from elite. They will bow out in the 2nd round.
  21. Remember- I was COMPLETELY against bringing him to Philly. He's getting booed off the court.
