  1. 2-0 game back when I was a kid was played in 2 hours give or take. 3 hour games were rare and only happened in slugfests if then.
  2. 66 here after a morning low of 31. This afternoon felt amazing.
  3. One thing wrong with baseball - how does a 2-0 game take 3 hours and 24 minutes to complete?
  4. Yes you did, and that was a great call! I certainly wasn't arguing with you, but at the same time I didn't have nearly the confidence that you did. I've been jaded by far too many choke jobs over the years.
  5. Sixers have the Raptors who we lost 3 out of 4 to. We do not match up well with their athleticism at all. We'll see...
  6. I feel like I'm the nice guy in this thread. Having said that, go troll somewhere else. Be a better person than you're portraying here.
  7. Well, you called this "event" a week or more out when frankly, I wasn't even paying attention. Anyway...sky had grown VERY dark...had a brief burst of rain/graupel mix that quickly transitioned to heavy snow. All of it lasted just a few minutes. But it was very cool indeed.
  8. We just had a really nice snow squall here in Maytown! Wow! Temp down to 40.
  9. Graupel and 44. Wintry day with the wind and frozen precip.
  10. 38 for the low, 39 now and partly sunny. Crisp fall-like morning!
  11. Left Philly at 3:30. It was mostly sunny and 65. Got home to a light shower and 48. Still much warmer than out your way. You've been comparing this weekend to 2 weeks ago - I recall being much warmer on Saturday than you were, and then Sunday was our turn for wintry weather. We'll see how tomorrow goes but we'll be leaving in the afternoon for the final curtain on the season.
  12. I hadn't heard that until I looked it up. Historic district gone crazy.
  13. 1983 team lost the opener and won it all. Let's do this!
  14. Off to Philly, but congrats to all who are or have seen snow! As usual, great job @Bubbler86
  15. Just came here to post the same - .22" of rainfall since 4pm yesterday. Impressive amount for a forecast of a few scattered showers.
  16. Did you get anything earlier this evening? Quick but rather heavy shower dropped .1". High today was 64...first time in the 60s this month.
  17. I'm mowing later this afternoon weather permitting. #6 - only the first of which was me weening out over having it super short for impending snowfall.
  18. Nearly .75" more than you - not sure if you had a storm during the early to mid afternoon hours yesterday, but I picked up over a half inch of rain between 1pm and 2pm. If you missed out on that storm...right there's a big part of your deficit.
  19. 1.6" of rain here today, total since Tuesday was 2.26"
  20. Just got home from dinner out with my wife. Still raining, now over 1.5" at 1.53" for the day. Going back to Tuesday night, 2.19" of rainfall.
  21. Dan Baker - Phils PA announcer since 1972. It's not a Phillies game without his voice.
  22. It was my first professional sports venue in 1971. As a 6 year old I gawked at the 55,000 yellow, orange, red, maroon, and brown seats. I spent many childhood nights there watching the Phils. Lots of memories wrapped into that place. Not all of them so good, but a lot were.
