My in laws have always taken me out for my birthday. My go to place for year was the Hoss's by the airport. Sad to see it go.

Snagged myself a FFW for later today - we'll see what happens. WPC has our area in a SLGT for excessive rainfall. Total rainfall since yesterday is .95"

Sigh. At least my trip is only 3 weeks away. She's got my weekend planned out - chores until noon tomorrow, then again after 3:30. Sunday I get a reprieve if it's raining. Ain't no one in here rooting for a rainy Sunday like I am. LOL

Had a light shower drop .05" here. It has since stopped.

Wife and I were out for hours eating lunch and shopping in Lancaster. Had to turn around 3 times due to flooded roads near Belmont. Got home to peeks of sun - neighbor was out front and looked at me like I was on a foreign substance when I told him about our little trip. He said it hasn't even threatened to rain here.

I've had 33 days of 90 degree plus Temps this year - 3 of those were round up to get there days.

We had 40' seas in 2013 sailing back from the Virgin Islands. Lots of broken dishes and fractured nerves that trip. It was...something. We've had lots of rough seas but that took the prize.

High today was 91.

It was easily the calmest seas that we've experienced over the years. Other than some engine vibration that we felt in our suite, we never felt a thing anywhere else for the entire cruise.
