  1. LOL! As MJS alluded to, a very gray, dark morning over this way. Things are starting to brighten up now.
  2. Literally in the past 15 minutes I've jumped 4 degrees from 69 to 73.
  3. A few minutes ago there was loud thunder here at work but no rain. Still nothing at home, that first little line whiffed me to the east. Watching those cells you're talking about and they look like they might do the same... Edit: I need to move to Manheim. Mom said they got hit hard earlier with that cell.
  4. Nice little cluster missing us just to our east currently. I had nothing overnight.
  5. SPC day 1 outlook looks similar to what you posted yesterday afternoon, which is actually a downgrade from what I saw last evening. They had the Enhanced area all the way down close to Harrisburg. It was pulled back NW this morning.
  6. Yep, just saw that. Maybe he'll stock shelves at the Home Depot? LOL
  7. We'll be flirting with the edge of "The Ring Of Fire".
  8. That's a nice (if you are into severe) bump from earlier today. That entire area of Enhanced wasn't there this morning.
  9. Yep, that's why I said what I did. Would not be surprised to see a 91-93 type reading.
  10. 86 here at 2:10pm. Friday might be another opportunity to reach 90.
  11. Nary a cloud in the sky here, but the breeze is doing it's trick...only 84 here now, and it's becoming pretty clear we'll fall short of 90 at this point. Bugs have been bad locally since the last week of May.
  12. MU says we get hit twice tomorrow - round #1 between 4am - 9am, round #2 between 7pm and 11pm. Early round is non-severe, 2nd round is potentially severe but the worst will be in NW PA
  13. I wonder if that was a product of dews - my dewpoint really jumped around 4am. By that point I was already at 64, and my temp leveled and started inching up at that point. It's quite humid out there now but there's also a nice breeze that kicked in. As @Mount Joy Snowman alluded to, the wind direction might tell the tale on our quest for 90 over this way.
  14. I was at 65 at 6:30am and am at 81 now. 16 degree rise here. Agree with all of this, the only thing I'd add is if I take my AC setting and lower it even further if that will offset the outside heat.
  15. 80 at home as well. (currently 80.3) If I'm at 85-86 at noon and maintain sun until 3pm, I like my chances for reaching 90 for the 7th time this year.
  16. I completed mow #22 Monday evening. My point and click from CTP is 88 for today. Currently 71 with full sun. I don't see how I don't reach 90 unless we cloud over this afternoon. I'm riding the Superstorm Heat Express over the models. LOL
  17. She handles sky conditions a little bit better than falling precip...
  18. Locally, my wife says it's been sunny and beautiful for hours at home. Lots of sun with little cloud cover. I'm 12 miles south and it's been mostly cloudy to cloudy all day here. Looks like roughly Rt. 30 (at least in Lanco) is sort of the dividing line between the 2 extremes.
  19. I should have clarified the comment I just made - there is a few showers approaching Harrisburg that look to clip us in an hour or so. Checking with my wife (I'm at work, no rain here) to see if anything is happening. She said "I don't think so". I thanked her for her great observation.
  20. Yep, that looks like a swing and a miss over this way. Picked up .27" of rain early this morning.
  21. Umm...yeah. Thanks Tim! I've only been in that airport about 2 dozen times over the years. LOL
  22. Earlier this evening, ORH gusted to 84mph. 2nd highest wind gust ever recorded at the airport.
  23. It felt hotter than 90, that's for sure. You're going to need some 2 point conversions to catch up. LOL
