  1. NAM doesn't look so much south to me but the precip shield shrunk south a good amount. As others mentioned the confluence is stronger.
  2. I'm in that kind of mood tonight. LOL In all seriousness though - if the HRRR is correct, virtually every member that posts in our thread would get at least a few inches. How awesome would that be?
  3. Yes, it's been a hot minute since they've been hamulated.
  4. Palmyra might get moderate snow showers at this rate...
  5. Sorry Blizz - he made a post earlier that he liked 5-9" along the M/D line at Bubbler's longitude.
  6. JB's 15" lollipop in Salisbury MD. Good for them.
  7. I'd call this a huge win for my area if verified.
  8. Ah yes...there it is. The map with an 8" contour followed by another 8" contour.
  9. Also, to be clear - I haven't given up yet at all. I'm discouraged. Selfishly, I want everything covered. Roads included. Give me a few hours where it looked like deep winter. It's been a long time.
  10. And a lot of snow maps showing 10-16" over the southern tier.
  11. Admittedly...I'm fighting negativity hard right now for this very reason. It has been brutal the past several years along the southern tier. I haven't shoveled in nearly 4 years. (Last year I did have a decent event but even that didn't amount to anything on paved surfaces)
  12. This is what I was saying yesterday. It's going to be brutal and it's going to be close to us.
  13. We need the Euro to make another step north. My fear is something else...
  14. RGEM and the ICON to an extent imply snow showers.
  15. RGEM is mostly a 1-2" deal east of the river.
  16. I completely understand why no one commented on the ICON and the RGEM.
  17. Precip shield shrunk on the NE fringe perhaps?
  18. I post much less on weekends as we're usually on the go. Weekends are follow the leader, and to be clear, I'm not the one in front. Weekends are "yes, dear" days. Chief reason why we've made it this far. I know my role.
  19. Going to be a wild ride the next 48 or so hours. I just don't buy the Euro's 150-200 mile wide band of 1-3". I think the gradient ends up much tighter.
  20. Are you sure that map you shared was what they were forecasting, or was that one model simulation? I saw something similar on a different station but the met stressed that what they showed was NOT their prediction. They were showing different potential scenarios.
