  1. If you watched the video and are wondering - that is NOT me dancing on the dugout after the 2nd home run. I just want to make that clear.
  2. One of my favorite Sandberg memories (against a pretty good relief pitcher who just happened to be a Donegal Indian)
  3. I know Mt. Holly's AFD this morning was already talking about relief coming from a cold front next Monday. Hopefully that knocks us back down at least a couple of days.
  4. I'm going for the Jake Owen concert after the game. Go Cubs!
  5. Yeah...I think at least here in Maytown we'll run at least the next 6 days (if not more) of 90+ temps. Still, the temps are more in line with "it's summertime" vs "this is extreme".
  6. I'm already at 89. Thinking 92 or so seems likely now.
  7. 84 at 11:15. Temperature rise has not been overly impressive. Only 6 degrees from the 90 mark but not feeling super confident that I'll get there. If I do, I'll probably eek out a 90 barely. Just walked across campus here at work and the dews are definitely down some. In the shade of the office building out front it felt downright pleasant.
  8. Wow, that is remarkable! Especially when it seems like there's more AN than BN weather anymore.
  9. 80 at 9:25am. I've been stuck on 14 days at or above 90 for some time...today might add to the tally.
  10. @Mount Joy Snowman I'm so very sorry. I lost my father in 2015. He was 76 but in very good shape, ate well, worked out...he seemed like he had many years left. One morning when he woke up, he bent over to put on a sock...and he never got back up. Boom. It was over. Never take anything for granted in life.
  11. Dewpoint is lower than yesterday morning for sure...it was a fog-free morning for my lenses.
  12. Being on the line in a severe threat is better than being on the southern extent of a snow map, I'll tell you that. 100%. Rain is welcome, rest can kindly fizzle in the drizzle. It really does...
  13. 83, partly sunny and steamy. It's ripe for something later on.
  14. Possibly. Sounds like we have 2 distinct threats later on - severe plus potentially flash flooding from heavy rains.
  15. All the maps that I've seen posted depict double what I actually received. I had to go back and review my station to make sure I was reporting correctly.
  16. Yep...somehow, someway I only managed .30" total yesterday and early this morning. Still well under 1" for the month. It is what it is. It was nice to get nearly a half inch over the weekend. A lot better than nothing at all.
  17. It's also a far cry from the less than a third of an inch that I received.
  18. CPC's latest update thinks so. (we were just upgraded from Marginal to Slight) They do mention the Tornado threat across eastern PA today as well:
  19. Day #4 for the season of humidity high enough to fog up my lenses. Looks like the ticker will be spinning quickly over the next couple of weeks.
  20. 77/73 here. Just got home from a most uncomfortable river walk.
