A very discouraging 2nd half of the season aside, the O's are in. Last year they pretty much went wire to wire, won over 100 games, and then promptly got swept in 3 games right on out of the playoffs. Seems like in recent years (2022 Phillies, 2023 Diamondbacks) that it's almost better to make a run being a Wild Card. Let the Yankees win the division and let's see if this team can get something done with lower expectations on them. One thing's for certain - they won't do worse in the postseason compared to last year. Unlike last year, no one is talking favorably about the Orioles. I kind of like that.

That's actually really impressive. Over 48 hours in September sitting at 60 degrees or below. Can't happen that often...

I have proudly had my AC run during every month of the year. Last winter I had my heat on less than 20 days/nights. My electric bill is usually in the $115-$140 range year round. Gas fluctuates a lot more.

Oh - well, I was just going off of CTP's forecast and nothing else. They have highs in the low 70s with sunshine heading into the weekend. 80s is a little warm for me at the end of September.

Indeed - the King of disappearing when it matters.

JUST missed 90 today - 89.2 was my high. Nice thing about this time of year...down to 64 already at 10:15pm.
