  1. Downright depressing. Good thing it has a .0000000001% chance of verifying.
  2. I need a lot more than a good mood to post a snow map...
  3. I'm so sorry - I totally missed this post. I did not mean to steal your thunder.
  4. Sun was out here yesterday as well. Welcome to the Garden Spot!
  5. A balmy 46 this morning with an additional .21" of rain overnight. CTP was calling for a quarter to half inch, I ended up with .28". Verified here.
  6. Temp is 52 - up 3 over the past 2 hours. How high can we go?
  7. I've got an event on that date involving pucks and sticks about 80 miles east of me - lock that baby in!
  8. I had a private conversation with Blizz last night - I basically told him "you need to punt this winter away for your own good"...he's a hard-headed guy, that Blizz is...here's what happened:
  9. I thought...I saw that Walt Drag said the same thing? Or maybe Rog said it in Walt's thread? Roger Smith punting snow is akin to Blizz punting snow. Now, the sh*t's getting real.
  10. Good...there wasn't much in my lunch bag, so there's that. LOL
  11. Hey hold up here a sec - I think I can still find a few of my old 8 Tracks down in the basement...
  12. I'm very much the same. My TV package includes 250 or so channels, of which I don't think I've ever watched about 240. I spend hours watching old Weather Channel videos of blizzards, 'canes, 'nados, etc. I'm not sure if I'm more obsessed with sports or weather. I can't get enough of either. Oh, and House. Gregory House. Dude is my hero.
  13. Nerd alert! I have as well - the other James Spann coverage I watch a lot is from March 1993. Birmingham got 14" from the Superstorm.
  14. All I see on that map is more feet upon feet of Sierra cement... The 77.3 is Mammoth.
  15. I can binge watch that guy - holy cow is Alabama fortunate to have him during severe weather events.
  16. Good grief, and good catch! Looks like a typical map for April.
  17. @paweather - might want to start making plans to visit: They seem pretty confident that there will be snow on the ground until at least July 4th at this point.
  18. Never good when the forecast on January 12th is highlighted with thunderstorms...
  19. There's a reason why we're traveling to the Sierra in May.
